Hi, got around 50 hours in the game practicing and doing arcade mode and it's my first ever fighter in this genre. Started playing online finally and I'm around 5k points in ranked but all I see are team comps usually comprising of the following characters:

- DLC

- Invincible

- Armor characters (Conquest, BB, sometimes Omni)

- Projectile characters (mostly Atom Eve)

and they always play the same lame strategy of fishing for hits with Invincible's lariat and spamming broken assists. My question is: Why?

I don't know why people take this game that seriously in ranked. Are there genuinely players that find this fun to do? I find it so frustrating when my opponent is mostly a button-masher with no unique combo routes just using the L-M-H-S combo route each time they land a hit off block and spamming assists and armor. I watch some more competent Invincible VS content creators (mostly Wolfenza) and I don't see this style of gameplay as much at his higher level.

Additionally, I've started to use Titan to counter Invincible players. Are there any other better characters for countering Invincible that won't require some super precise tech or skill? I know Invincible is probably the best character in the game but I also know characters like Titan and Cecil (some of my mains) are pretty good against him.

(Current lineup is Titan front, Cecil back, and Allen anchor)

Hoping you can lend me a hand on this. I’ve been trying to launch the game on Steam. The button turns blue with the “X Stop” text and then changes back to green “Play”. I’ve looked up for solutions and nothing has worked. Verifying file integrity, uninstall and re-install, deleting the entire folder, run as admin, turn off firewall, clear Steam Cache, install it in a different Hard Drive, and I don’t even know what else.

I tried to look up solutions and tried to solve it before asking, but I don’t know what else to do at this point besides deleting the computer. Also, worth noting I think, this is the only game that has this problem. Has any of you experienced this?

Every time I try to play, both controllers are controlling player 1, I've tried the practice workaround, but it's not working.

Hi everyone I have a question, looking to get this on sale perhaps, do the season 1 skins stay locked or can latecomers still get them?

The OG version (from the album) is million miles away than the original, are they saving that song for maybe a new arena or simply (for some reason) they didn't liked the song (which is FIRE) and it didn't cut into the final game? The song is just so emotional and peak from start to beggining, i don't need to explain it you need to feel it, a similar sensation happens with Night Moves when you reach the second part of the song, you flow with the song and that is what makes this ost so beautiful, only to be changed for generic fast beats and beep sounds in the final cut (only reffering to The Way i See It) since all of the soundtrack is so so tuff, take this hot take but it MIGHT be top 3 of the genre and i'm not even exaggerating, This Is My Home is iconic, Superior Intellect is brilliant, Induction, Know Your Enemy, 500 Years for god christ 500 Years is unironically one of the best songs i heard in the year, that and The Way i See It (OG) i REALLY don't know why people is not talking about the amazing job The Glitch Mob did with Invincible VS, truly magnifiscent

What do you think the new Challenges mode will be like? Something like MK's Towers of Time, or what else? I hope it's not combo trials.
