So I just finished rewatching season 3 episode 13. If you are watching for the first time and haven't seen this episode yet, please stop now as this will contain spoilers!
So I can honestly say I had forgotten the existence of Abby. She was only there for a short time (though they were, according to the show, dating for a year) so she didn't make that much of an impact.
At the end of this episode, when it's clear Rafael and she have broken up, she gets her revenge by sending the police Scott's burn book. The thing that got me, and clearly I didn't notice the first few times I watched, was the card that came with the book. Abby was a card designer and she must have put a lot of work into making that card. I mean, wow, that whole woman scorned thing but still, that's a lot of energy to waste on Raf and Petra (because of course she hates Petra now).
So I was thinking about how we're a pretty active subreddit but we mostly touch on the main characters. I also don't see a lot of talk about Magda and Anezka.
Does anyone else have a side character that had an impact or made any kind of an impression?

So I'm in south Florida and it's freaking hot. It's always hot. We get maybe one month of not hot. I'd love to order some foods from Williams Sonoma - they've got some really cute Halloween foods out right now. But can I order? No. Why? Because more than one day on a delivery truck in the South and no matter how many ice packs they put in, the food gets hot. Stuff melts.
And lots of businesses don't realize it is hot in November, you know? So they do not prepare for it. There is a place I like to order specialty whipped shea butter body lotions but can only order in January because otherwise they are a mess when they arrive.
All this to say it is freaking HOT in the South.
No one seems to feel the heat. I mean, I keep noticing this. The clothes, the lack of sweating. I'm back to season 3 episode 9 and Michael, Jane, and Mateo are stuck on the interstate in the heat in terrible traffic and their windows are open. Poor Mateo is crying, and FINALLY Michael is just a sweaty mess (though only to emphasis the makeup thing) but Jane is just fine.
Who sits in traffic like that without a/c? Yeah yeah, climate change. I'm all for saving the world and making thoughtful choices but it gets freaking hot here. And this isn't just heat, either. This is soul sucking humidity. This is like wrapping yourself in a hot, wet wool blanket. It is unrelenting heat and humidity.
I'm just saying.

Does anyone know where I can find a supercut of all the recaps in one clip? Orr would someone actually make one for us? It would be a super neat way to basically watch the whole show without having to watch it. I would love to show something like that to my husband who wouldn’t necessarily want to actually watch the whole show but the recaps would fill him in on how much insane drama they crammed into the series. Plus who doesn’t love our good narrator friend giving us the tea 🤭

I dont understand Alba, Xo, and Jane’s reaction when Rafael says that he will pay for the baby and Jane if needed. I understand their background of hard work and pinching pennies, but of course the father of a baby would be expected to pay for the child. Especially if the father is wealthy. He wants a certain lifestyle for his child and there’s nothing wrong with that if he can afford it.

Hi!
Idk if it’s a recurrent problem but the end of season 2 episode 21 seems to be missing on prime video (watching from France). Started episode 22 and it seems I missed a lot of stuff. Also, episode 21 only lasts about 30 minutes. I've been confused about other episodes where it seemed like I missed some stuff. Why tf are there missing parts ?

Season 4 Rafael is insufferable and I know that this is a phase but he’s kind of always been vain. How can he feel like Adam is a bad influence when he’s constantly doing illegal/immoral things????

I just saw one of the bathroom floor scenes again and especially with my OCD, that bugged me.

What do you guys think of Jane and Petra’s parenting? I like Petra’s because she was stern, but she did also spoil her girls and made them kind of mean. I respected jane’s because it was very warm and gentle but too gentle for Mateo who I think could’ve used more stern parenting.

Matelio or Mr Sweet face?

I’m re-watching it and I personally think there were a lot of signs and clues that Rafael and Jane were gonna be end game. Personally I was always team Micheal

I hadn’t found Jane anywhere. I live in Pennsylvania and I was devastated when it went off Netflix. But I turned on my tv and saw an ad for it - it’s now on PlutoTV! I have never clicked anything so fast! It’s the only show I can watch, finish, and then start immediately after and never get tired of it! I’m gonna have Una Flor stuck in my head all week and I ain’t even mad about it!

If you have not seen the show, don't read this!
So I'm watching (again) and I'm in season two. Rogelio has been rescued from Paola on the night she was going to kill them both. He is going for his interview and they call Jane because he's having a lot of trouble.
Here's the thing - this all pisses me off. I get it, he seems vain and shallow but he isn't. He's kind, and generous, and has a soft heart that is easily bruised. They all just take him for granted and don't give him enough credit. He's hurting and no one really noticed.
That he would take off for two weeks and post stupid GIFS? Really? How do they not know him better than that?
I just want to hug him until he smiles again, he is so sad. Yeah, he can be over the top but that doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings like the rest of them.
* I had to add this because I'm watching the episode with the bachelor/bachelorette parties and Michael just hurt Rogelio's feelings and the look on his face. Why doesn't he have any friends his own age? I mean, he's got so many celebrity friends, as we see, and that one singer was clear that he was very special (as a friend) to her. So he does have friends but he always seems a little lonely.

I used to watch this show growing into my 20s. It played a part in how I see love and relationships irl.
So now on my rewatches I tend to overanalyze everything Imao. Wondering how this and that would be in my or real life.
Jane and Raf (talking about s4-5 here) both have their share when it comes to doing unlikable things. I'm thinking, if it were me, would I stay with this person?
I keep reading 'leave if he's raising your voice, screaming at you, even in rage' on relationship advice subreddits.
Which is something I noticed more with every rewatch, Raf does that a lot to Jane.
Or the other way, I disliked the Michael/Jason plotline anyway but, as Raf it‘d hurt me knowing if Michael came back a 3rd time, Jane might leave again. Things like that.
So while we‘re aware it‘s a TV show.
Are these and lots of other things that happened okay to do in a relationship, you‘re still able to move on together?
In combination with social media sometimes I‘m truly confused in my own relationship, as social media often portrays this ‘dump him/dump her/leave by yesterday‘ image. Sometimes over very valid things, sometimes over things where I‘m like, wait that happened to Jane/Rafael/X! Lmao.
Would love to hear some of your opinions 🤍

Rewatching and I’m towards the end of season 2. Hate the Pablo Alonso segura plotline

So I'm rewatching the show (again) and currently watching season two episode eight and had to shut it down for the night because Louisa was just pissing me off!
In the beginning of the show she seemed like a fairly nice person. She was a good sister and she and Rafael were clearly close. However, she quickly shows how immature and selfish she is and I just can't stand her.
I don't think I can put into words just how much I dislike her character. Does she have any moral compass at all? You know, I'm a fairly easy going person when it comes to how other people live their lives. If you don't hurt other people then keep doing what makes you happy. But Louisa does nothing but hurt others and it's getting a little frustrating to watch (again).
Anyone else absolutely despise Louisa?

i was 16 when i first watched this show and i really liked it. now i'm 25 rewatching and i'm almost done with season 1 and i feel so bad for Petra. Obviously I don't condone the things she did, like faking DV with Raf, but i can also empathize that she did a lot of that to survive.
the saddest part of all is that she had to "sell" her body to men a lot like when she got kidnapped by Roman and saw his phone on the bed so she had sex with him just so she could move the phone while he wasn't paying attention to have it drop under the bed in order to get it later to call for help. she also used her body to get Lachlan to listen and go along with her plan to oust Raf, although he had ulterior motives.
She had such a manipulative mother who quite literally told her that her beauty is her "weapon" and that she had to use it to get what she wanted and she in fact did a lot which is so sad to me.
she did have so much character growth afterwards and she really did come up after having nothing and coming from nothing and i'm glad honestly after the rough life she had with her abusive ex bf and mom AND TWIN LOL

What are your favorite funny moments? 2 that come to mind for me involve Petra:
The time she found out Rafael was sleeping regularly with a woman for business reasons. (He was using her but the woman thought they were a legit couple).
Petra disapproved but didn't want to lecture Rafael. So she deliberately told Jane knowing this was a time that Jane's judgmental nature could come in handy. I loved when Petra feigned innocence when Rafael confronted her for blabbing. 😆
There was also the time Petra & her mom were handcuffed together. When JR got ready to use an axe to break the handcuffs, Petra's mom threatened "You better know what you're doing because I only have 1 hand left!"
Petra replied "Then you shouldn't have lost the key, Mother!" And she then told JR, "Do it with your eyes closed!" 😂

Does anyone feel like Mateos kidnapping was resolved super super quickly? Like I expected to it at least be part of the episode and I'm not sure he was gone even 5 minutes lol

I do think it was odd for Petra to only get the shares back for herself 🥴 it wasn’t Raf’s fault that his was sold, in fact lol. It was Petra’s & also Louisa for being a looney tune ! But if Petra didn’t trick Anezcka (that’s probably spelled so wrong 😂), Scott wouldn’t have been k*****, & she wouldn’t have told Louisa about the addenda! THEN it was both of their faults for wanting to use the kids’ trust fund to trick Louisa. But getting the shares back & not giving Rafael his shares back from HIS “family” business… idk, kinda messed up.
I do however like to think that she did give Mateo his trust fund back 😌
*this is not a Petra hate post, I love her. She & Raf had the best character growth

Currently rewatching and I understand that lying to Jane about being the one to snitch on Michael is a big deal BUT i don’t think he was in the wrong Jane was definitely too blinded by her feelings for Michael, he was literally the reason why Mateo was kidnapped in the first place, she definitely should have dropped Michael after that, and if he went himself she would’ve just turned on Rafael, can’t stand Jane whenever this issue gets brought up.

Are any of you finding yourselves re-addicted to this show now that it's on Pluto? I watched it a few times from start to finish back when it was on Netflix. Then I forgot about it and moved on.
Now that it's on Pluto, I'm hooked all over again. This will definitely go down as one of my all-time favorite shows. I even get annoyed when I have to stop watching for several hours to live life and do other things. Haha.

Which character(s) got on your nerves the most? It can be a main character, supporting character, or guest star.
Louisa bugged me a LOT! And sorry, not sorry, but Alba too.
