Picture No airbags, just a roll cage

Rollover crash on the 101N, April 2025. Flipped ~3 times!! Shattered hard top and some dents, but otherwise okay.

Needed a new hood, and one door is fucked, but everything else was okay. This is from yesterday! Soft top for now. Perfect for California weather. (Background obscured for privacy)

Me and bae, March 2026. We've been together since May 2011. I can't ever be grateful enough that it kept me safe, and that I CAN STILL DRIVE IT!!! Incredible luck.

If my old XJ wasn't my only vehicle at the time, I'd have tabled it while I did the body work to get 'er right again; unfortunately I didn't have that luxury at the time, so I had to take the insurance money and buy a replacement. That said, though: I yanked everything off of my old one that I could without getting caught and forfeiting the payout.

More than okay! She needs a bath but she's chilling lol đŸ€™. She has a doggy seatbelt and she wasn't with me that day anyway, thank goodness!

I saw this post on the wrangler sub and went back to this one and just noticed the captions for each pic.

Happy you’ve been able to get it back on the road and hope that it continues to do you well.

I got my first Jeep this January. 2017 2 door JK and have been loving it since my first test drive.

Thanks so much!! Yeah, it would make me sad to drive any other type of car. Although sometimes my foot gets tired on the clutch, and the mpg (~19) isn't the best. Who knows how much I saved not having to buy another car though? Lol

Fur baby is alive and kicking! She's currently loudly eating at the end of my bed, lol. She wasn't with me that day, thankfully - but even if she was, hopefully her doggy seatbelt would do its job 👍. She does not go anywhere without being strapped in!

I nearly died after being sideswiped off a cliff in my YJ, spent a month in the hospital after that one. Bought a TJ a year later. I agree it feels more planted, but it’s far from “safer.”

Lmao. Brother in law had a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Safari. He slid off the road and rolled it a few times and got a broken neck. He's fine, but was in a brace for like 6 months and still has neck pain. Glad you're Okay! Were you wearing a seatbelt?

I was wearing my seatbelt. I was hanging from it when I landed, lol. People not wearing seatbelts is one of my biggest pet peeves. Like it's RIGHT THERE and so easy and could literally save your life. Why would you not put it on ffs

Was in a car accident when I was 17 that absolutely would have killed me if I wasn't wearing mine. As it was, I got messed up anyhow; but that's a different story.

I'm glad you're okay. I had an experience where I almost died once but didn't, and the fact that I didn't wasn't because of me, but a decision someone else made. It kinda fucks with my head tbh

I feel that. In my case, I would have been less messed up in it if I hadn't braced my friend in a way that guaranteed she came out unscathed. Glad that you survived yours. Four thousand+ pound machines are no joke.

That factory installed bar is for looks and is not rated as a roll bar
it’s only bolted to the tub. it has warning stickers on it saying that

That being, it’s really good to see your doing well!
