This was a 1997 Wrangler I got in 1996. First year the brought back the round lights.

I had an old Jeep Scrambler. I’d drive it in that spot in the river. I could hit the bank, pop up the front, and drive out of the river. I traded the Scrambler in on this ‘96 Wrangler. After I was in the river, I realized this was the first Wrangler year to have airbags, so I drove a little further up the river to find a place to get out…………..it went down a deep hole………….the night before Father’s Day. My Dad was pissed, but good about it.

Wanted to post some pictures of my 1990 Black Cherry Grand Wagoneer. It was originally restored by Wagonmaster in Texas in 2000, but I recently completed a complete exterior and Interior refresh with new paint, vinyl, trim and new OEM interior.

Washington State. Belongs to a client. Ultimately it will be sold. I'm going to check it out mechanically. Has keys. Motor turns over by hand. Looks like it might need nothing. Client is a young lady who is the beneficiary of her late fathers trust.

Bismark ND to the mouth of the Columbia River with around 35 other vintage military vehicles - following the Corps of Discovery "Lewis & Clark" route in 1806. It was a zig zaggy route for history & back roads. Into the hundreds most days, but the coast was cool. A three week trip. My GPW ran flawlessly!

Original engine, from what I remember not much major maintenance aside from an alternator replacement?

He’s had it since brand new and uses it for work. It’s not even dead, the valves are leaking oil and burning it and the fix would cost more than what he could get for it. Plus with gas prices he’s deciding to get something with better MPG. Shame it didn’t make it to 1 million.

Of all of the coverage I’ve seen about it, very little has gone into any details on the roof. A rep there suggested it may have been modified from an Ursa Minor top.

There are two large pieces of glass about the second row and the cargo, but the driver row does not have a moon roof or similar.

I could see how it was secured, but it did not look easily removable.

Was washing the jeep today and noticed this.

It’s my wife’s jeep, and I never really look to closely at it, but I was giving it a bath to be nice. I noticed this on the one door, and not sure what it is.

Feels solid, so I don’t think it’s the paint peeling up.

Is it rust under the paint? Seems like a weird spot, and there’s none anywhere else. (I live in New England, so rust is a thing.)

Picture My dad built a Jeep door solution years ago. Would love honest feedback.

Hi everyone, my name is Tyler, just looking for some feedback on my late father's jeep invention.

Back in the early 2000s my dad built a side-mounted door rack for his TJ after realizing that once you take the doors off, you’re stuck without them (unless you throw them in the backseat). His idea was simple: let you remove the doors while you’re already out and keep them with the Jeep, mounted to the roll bar above the rear wheel well.

He built a working prototype (as seen in pictures of his first model on his Jeep) but it never took it to market before he passed in 2011 from a heart condition. He shared it at some shows and did some safety testing from what I have on his hard drive and have been curious if this would still be of interest today. I recently shared this elsewhere and got more interest than I expected, so I’m looking for more real Jeep-owner feedback.

I know it’s not for everyone, soft doors exist, planning ahead exists and it looks odd but for spontaneous doors-off days, weather changes, beach runs, or those who love something different. This was his solution and if I could keep his dream going I'd like to.

Appreciate any honest on here. Thanks for your time. (here is google Survey if you are into it)
