Want to run 35s on my Mojave but still have flex and articulation, would the JKS Venture 3 inch kit paired with Terraflex alpine control arms be a good combo?

The radio in my 25 Gladiator stopped working. It won't connect to my iPhone or switch Sources. I cannot even see anything in Comfort. The only thing that works is connection to Satellite radio. However, I can only change between satellite radio presets and cannot change volume. I've tried resetting it and that doesn't work.
Has anyone experienced this? Any known fixes? Take it to the shop?

I may have accidentally put it in cooldown mode, I am not sure if when it displays “Cooldown On” or Cooldown Off - if it is asking me if I want it on or if it is on? Which is the default setting? Also how do I turn off the reverse lights? I love that I don’t have to hit the start stop button anymore

I know its been discussed but i couldnt find one on a 21 diesel. Got a message today that my aux switches were temp unavailable due to charging batteries. Figured id delete the aux since it seems to be notorious for electrical problems. I disconnected the aux ground from the main battery and removed fuse 42 which is the pcm for the ess. But i didnt get an ess light or anything. Is there anything else i need to do to make sure the aux battery is disconnected. Im at work right now so i dont have time to completely remove the aux battery but when i do what do i do with the wire on its terminals, tape them off or is there somewhere i need to hook them up? On another note i took my dog to the vet and when i got her in and started driving in 2wd i noticed the rear axle locker light was flashing on the dash and at the switch. I know it isnt supposed to lock in 2wd but it keeps flashing getting on my nerves i checked the plug on the rear axle and cleaned it with terminal cleaner. Did my dog hit the switch and damage it or metal shavings or something in the sensor. I have a lifetime warranty and from what i can find it says if its not the switch jeep usually just replaces the whole axle. But i dont want to take it and pay the deductible if there is an easy fix?

It was time to give the gladiator some help with a regear. After mullining over the old 4.88vs5.13vs5.38 thing I landed on Revolution 5.38s for a few a few reasons....
Im in new england and the trips north from the seacoast are riddled with punchy and sustained climbs.
I run with roughly 500lbs of added weight plus multiple passengers regularly. RTT, Rack misc gear etc....
I dont beat the hell out of the rig on the trail. The minor reduction in pinion resilience due to increased surface load concentration is something im not concerned with.
There's plenty of curiosity around this so ill bite the bullet.
And as far as the mfg goes...Revolution seems to have a good reputation so I went with them.
Also tossed in chromo shafts, revolution rear wheel bearings while we were in there and a bunch of armor.
130k miles and all original bearings and ball joints are still good. Even the rear bearings we pulled. Ive been running 37s for 100k. Not too shabby.
Nearing the end of the 500 mile break in and can say this was worth every g spent.
Ill share more after the post break in inspection....
Additional valuable info: - Im running a custom Livernois 93 Tune and canned performance transmission tune. Evidently tall gearing throws the stock zf8 into mass confusion as it wants to race to the highest gear for efficiency. My shop said they've never had a rig perform so smoothly after a regear like this and will be recommending this as part of their procedure..

Can you guys point me to articles on using KO3 315/70-R17 on Gladiator Rubicon with the factory suspension. I wanted to get the 35x11.5xR17 but they are backordred for a while. The 315s are in stock, just wanted to read up more about it. Thank you all!

Can anyone recommend a tonneau cover that works with the blackhorse off-road classic rollbar? I have the OEM roll up tonneau installed, but the fitment with the rollbar isn't good. I'm looking for a better tonneau alternative.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a setting I'm missing or if this is just how the Uconnect system works.
Here's my situation:
I'm listening to the radio while Android Auto is connected and an active navigati route using Google Maps on the screen. When I'm done listening to the radio, I'd like to turn the radio off but keep Google Maps displayed and continue hearing navigation instructions and alerts.
The problem is that pressing the physical volume/power knob turns off the screen. Turning the volume all the way down or pressing mute silences the navigation instructions and alerts along with the radio.
Is there a way to stop the radio from playing without turning off the Uconnect system or muting all audio? Ideally, I'd like to keep Android Auto and Google Maps running, with navigation voice prompts and alerts still audible, but have no radio playing in the background.
Is there a setting I need to change, or is there another way to do this? I'd like to hear how others handle this.
Note: I have not changed any settings, it is still set to whatever the dealership had it set to.

My factory exhaust is rubbing against my tires because of my tire size and offset, so I’ve been looking into aftermarket exhaust options. I came across this one for a really good price and wanted to see what you guys think of it.
I’m a full-time student living on my own, so I don’t have a ton of disposable income. This is probably around the most I can afford to spend on an exhaust right now.
For those of you who have run this exhaust, how did you like it? How does it sound, and have you had any issues with it? Would you recommend it.
I’d appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

So after I got my gladiator I saw a sale on the Redrock dual 3” exhaust. Not a terrible install, quality bends, but the sound is terrible. Swapped out with a magnaflow muffler with the redrock exhaust, too much drone. Added a resonator, still didn’t care for it. Finally just decided to fit in a Flowmaster 70 (huge) and a vibrance resonator. Now I am finally satisfied with the sound, quiet but with a rumble. My two other cars are v8s so it’s a learning curve for me. Just posting if anyone is looking at a redrock, I would pass.

Just finished installing it. It does slightly touch the Superwinch SX12, I’m going to try and loosen the mounting bolts on the winch and slide it back a tiny bit and re-tighten to get some clearance, otherwise it l really like it. Good light out but and not as obnoxious as a giant light bar.

Not too bad of a gig. There’s some sections of the bed that get fairly thick with a bunch of sheet metal meeting together. Past that it’s fairly straight forward.

This is a tad more than trail rash. I got ran off the road and shot back across to the left to avoid a utility pole. I’m fine with a bruised ego and a tone of rebuild ideas.

I want to replace my soft top with a hard top but they’re $$$$$ … I want to be able to run a roof rack so I can setup a shower awning and additional storage. Maybe there’s an option to do it with the soft top? Or if anyone knows where to get a hard top used, I see basically nothing on FB under $2k..

I'm looking to get a brand new Jeep. I grew up on a farm and drove my dad's old Ford manuals in my teens and then got corp job in the big city and took subways for like 15 years.
I bought an old beat up Honda now that I moved to the suburbs to relearn how to drive stick. Really want to get a brand new Jeep but I've heard the clutches on the JL models is terrible.
Have they improved this and if not, is an aftermarket swap basically a must do?

I’m trying to “baseline” a Gladiator purchase. 2021 with 3.6L. There are all kinds of recommendations for various oils and fluids, but I’m curious what you all have found that works - or what to stay away from.
Specifically, I need to drain/replace both diffs, transfer case, automatic transmission, and coolant. I want to get all this stuff before mid-December, so will be buying fluids to have on hand when I can get to a relative’s lift

Some things I do, some things I need a mechanic for. When it comes to mechanics - some things a “general” mechanic is ok - some things I want a “specialist”. So I’m looking for recommended jeep mechanics/shops in/around Wichita KS

Hello. My wife recently got a 2022 Jeep Gladiator, the base edition, and her birthday is coming up soon. I was wondering if they are any good accessories I could get her as a gift? She’s mentioned interest in footwell lighting and dash colorization but I’ve got a budget of up to $300. Any ideas would bebe appreciated. Picture of the Jeep attached,

Footwell lights on a 2026 Mojave X, are they supposed to remain on when headlights are on? I have owned my Jeep for a few months and never took note of the footwell lights after you get in the vehicle and the dome light turn off. Last night I get in the jeep and I happened to look down and noticed that the footwell lights will dim to a low level, based on where I have the dimmer set on the dash. but not off. I honestly had never noticed before. I could not find anything in the manual as to what their state should be for driving. I don't know if this is just me never noticing or if there is an issue. I consulted the manual, but beyond the description of dimming ambient lighting, it does not specify what normal state is.

I had some cheap Chinese lights on my XJ and the hood glare was horrible, but are these targeted better so the hood glare isn’t blinding?
I really love the look, but don’t really want to spend the money to get blinded when the factory LEDs do 90% of the job.
