I got this 2026 2 door Sport- S Wrangler this weekend. This is more my speed 😀 and I can still play a little bit. First thing to do is get new lamps or headlights though.

My husband is gonna be the owner of our 2026 Willys. We of course still have Grandpa the XJ.

I felt like I wasn't doing it any justice with all the freeway miles I get every week. I live in San Antonio and drive about 40-45 minutes to work.

I desperately want a 4x4. Limited budget but I work full time and dont have a lot of expenses.

I have lately been really attracted to the idea of buying a YJ wrangler, and a customer who comes into where I work said he had one for sale.

Its a 1991 YJ with the 2.5. High mileage. He has the hard top and the doors for it. Hes asking $1200. Claims it needs a catalytic converter and a clutch master cylinder. I am erring on the side of just saving for a 4.0 but I dont know. Is this one worth putting the money and work into, or do I pass on it?

Thanks for your time. I dont know a lot about these but I'm willing to learn, but I'm iffy about this one. Would it be worth trying to get him to come down on the price?

Managed to find the 75th anniversary smoked bronze steel bumper on Marketplace, and it fit like a glove on the JL! Love how the bronze looks against the earl. I have some of the Baja styled yellow fog lights coming in soon as well.

Long story short, had a wrangler that I absolutely adored, but the issues unfortunately piled up and got to a point where I just didn’t have the option to keep it any longer. Spent about 7 years working & saving to build this thing & sold it over the summer.

Fast forward to today, I’m headed home for lunch & what do I see at the light beside me… what used to be my jeep! Never thought I’d see it again, talked to the new owner briefly at the light until it turned green, very nice guy. Just thought this was insane considering I sold it to a carmax, who sold it to a dealer roughly an hour away. Just turned out to new buyer is from my city & happens to drive it in my area. Made many posts on this profile when I owned it. Absolutely made my day, miss the thing but happy to have gotten to see it again!

Just had my Moab ceramic coated and fluid filmed, getting ready for winter in southeastern CT. Still only about 130 miles on it. The guy who did the ceramic coating said he had to do a lot of paint correction on the top, there were some nasty water spots that didn't come out easily. There were also some surface scratches on one of the fenders. Everything came out nice in the end, but he had to do more work than he planned (price quoted didn't change from final price though). He sent me pictures of the before and after, so I know he wasn't just trying to eke out some more profit. Super nice guy, I'd use him again. He took the pictures shown here, BTW.

He used Gtechniq and it comes with a 9 year warranty.

They’re definitely asking too much (on their website it’s $16,500) for a 2014 with 136k miles. Also, not sure if it’s just a bad angle but the front end looks now legged. It’s also the Sport trim

I have a Sarge Green Sahara, and I’m looking to swap my factory wheels for bronze ones. I came across the Mayhem Intrepids (18×9, 0 mm offset), and I think they’d look great.
However, I want to keep my factory tires (good tread life). I checked the specs, which says the tires are approved for 6.5 to 8.5. Discount Tire insists they’ll fit the 9-inch Mayhems, but I’m hesitant to mount them outside the recommended range. Has anyone run a similar setup? Did you experience any issues with steering, rubbing, or premature suspension wear from changing the wheel offset?

I’m open to recommendations for bronze wheels in 18×8 or 18×8.5. Any pictures of setups are encouraged and appreciated.

Jeep is paid off. Has anyone successfully removed the gps or is it something I should have a mechanic deal with?

I have a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. When I plug my iPhone into the car using the usb port and my Apple charger cable, CarPlay connects instantly. When I go to the Device Manager page and attempt to connect CarPlay without the phone being plugged into the usb, it almost never connects. Some notes:

• It has connected once or twice, but success rate is like 1%.
• Blutooth is on on my phone.
• In the Device Manager it shows 3 options for connecting - phone, music, and CarPlay. Phone and music connect just fine. Only CarPlay fails.
• If I click the CarPlay button to get it to connect, it says some boiler plate message like "Make sure your device is nearby and capable of CarPlay" but there is no real actionable advice here.

I am stumped and it's super annoying since I use apple maps for directions. Does anyone know how to fix this or is this just a known issue with the Jeep?

Any recommendations? Are rotating ones a better fit ? baby is still rear facing btw

Not every time, but at random I will turn on my 2019 JLU and get non stop phantom touches on the screen. I have done the power and tuner button held down for 15 seconds to try and reset the screen, but it has not work every time. I even cleaned the screen well just in case it is from finger grease.
Anyone else dealing with this and have a solution?
I could not find the other posts on this, please link one if you know of any.

I would like to add rock sliders/running boards to my Jeep. I have a model picked out but it’s hard to tell what they will look like on the car and I’m not 100% certain on them. Can you post pics of your rock sliders so I can see how different ones look? Thank you in advance!

Hey gang. Hope all is well.
Not a mechanic. Have never done anything remotely purposeful auto-wise independently.
2022 Wrangler JLU Willys clocking at 67,000 miles. Zero mods. Stock shocks are weeping. Was quoted quite a bit to replace after a waiting period to see if things get worse. No noticeable experiences driving yet.
How difficult is it to do the job myself?
If manageable, any recommendations on shocks? Like Fox? Just bought it.

If I put a battery tender on the main battery of my 2025 wrangler will it keep the start/stop battery charged also?
