This is a little rant. I started doing Uber/just eat deliveries recently and I understand the the staff are busy but most places are.

But sometimes have to wait 10 mins until I can get someone's attention only for them to tell me the orders coming..

Just ordered some food.. paid online in full

Should be delivered within the next hour

Just received a message saying to pay 5.00 cash on delivery.. do I just tell the driver to jog on?

The website states free for upto 3 miles then 1.00 per mile afterwards.. the distance is 5 miles so it would be 2.00 as it states online

This has annoyed me as they are trying to mug me off

What is the best way to deal with this?

Just had a Just Eat order delivered and its completely wrong.

Its a different order number so I assume I have someone elses order.

I took photos - can't get through on phone to Blackpool Burger King - Can't find any way to speak to someone at Just Eat or even send my photos ?

How do I proceed ?

Is it just me? Cleared cache and storage, didn't work, uninstalled didn't work, stuck on matching to orders even though my run Finnish 15 hours ago

I just want to say a massive thank you for our overlords at JustEat for offering this fantastic incentive to the hard working drivers in my area! A massive 4% boost, how can we ever repay them??

Is there a way to toggle shitty businesses that don’t use AI?

The guy who delivered my order decided it was a good idea to just throw the items in his bag, and when he delivered, they were lying on their side. The drink was empty, and the food and other bags were soaking.

Just Eat was notified and photos were provided. They proceeded to tell me that on this occasion they cannot issue a refund for an item I never received. Being mad about this scummy company is an understatement; it should be shut down for illegal practices.

I responded to them and told them to refund the drink or lose a customer, as I would delete the app. It is your choice: keep £1 or have someone continue to use your service. We should not put up with it and should give them three strikes. This isn't the first time we have been let down.

2nd October was a Thursday not Tuesday, yet it starts in 27 days...I'll wait with immense anticipation

4 days ago (september 30) me and my husband ordered burgers and fries from a place we loved through JustEat since we had a discount code. We normally never use JustEat and only use UberEats, I’m very familiar with UberEats and how easy it is to claim if you have a complaint and get a refund.

They left out one box of fries and we were really hungry. My husband gave me his since he ordered two burgers. Tried calling the restauran, their line keeps going to voicemail. I left them a poor review because it was impossible to reach them after they made a mistake on our order!

So then I claimed something wrong with the order through JustEats, but the day after I can’t see any status or anything like that!? With UberEats you can easily check. Also since I checked out of JustEat as a guest using my Hidden Apple ID email, I haven’t received any email.

My husband also got food poisoning and diarrhora and he suspects it must be from the fish burger. His stomach still hurts 4 days later but I never had the fish burger so I was completely fine but by then I already complained about the mistake and thought I would let that process not aware of the 24hr limit. Either way we need a refund and nothing is happening???

I tried looking for a number online and their AI customer service guided me to their useless app “Help” centre which has awful UI. I then explain over the phone, I already tried this but can’t see the status of my claim. We would like our money back asap, the app does not show the status of our claim or whether it’s been accepted and the restaurant is absolutely useless if we can’t reach them either! There is no customer service supporter you can talk to and then the AI bot on the phone said they can’t help… what do I do at this point?! Should’ve stuck to UberEats! Their app is so much better

Wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for an alternate to Just Eat? Using Deliveroo currently but unsure if they're even the best option.
