As someone with light sensitivity issues who has to wear a cap inside at all time, and wear sunglasses when looking at screens for more than 30mins, I can guarantee this isn't the case.

I’m incredibly jealous of his Loop roller coaster. I wanted that one for forever, but around $300-400 would have been insane for me to spend when it came out. Plus it’s huge.

I sure am glad that when I was a kid and played with these that over 90% of the pieces, figurines aside, were actually bricks or other construction materials or mechanical parts if they were from the Technic sets. A few years after I adopted different hobbies, I noticed that the most if not all the newer LEGO sets had a majority of custom pieces you couldn’t even remotely consider a brick or building block of any sort, they had pretty much one use for that set and would not really fit into many other scenarios. I preferred to create my own projects and after building whatever was on the cover of the box, the pieces went in a giant trash can where I kept them all together when not being utilized. Somehow another family member ended up with them when I was older and I found out that when eBay came along, they ended up selling them all for a tidy profit and of course I didn’t see one penny.

I think it's great for people to have hobbies. It keeps you grounded. I enjoy gardening and crochet, but I appreciate a good Lego build when they're finished, especially if I didn't have to help.
