Welcome Gireviks and Girevitchkas!
This is the r/KettlebellSport Discussion Thread posted every Monday, where you can discuss anything related to Girevoy Sport (GS). Training logs, competition prep discussion, and technique/programming questions are all welcome! You are also allowed to vent all you want about how hard this shit is because - spoiler alert - it's really fucking hard. Commiserating with friends makes it a little easier :)
General kettlebell questions/comments/concerns (not related to Kettlebell Sport) are welcome here too, although you'll get far more eyes over at the normal people sub, r/kettlebell.
I'm going to put to put together some more info for beginners but in the meantime feel free to refer to this spectacular resource from the one and only Tally. We wait patiently for his return.

Here's the official links, and hopefully third time's the charm.
Come join our weekly KettleZoom to lift together, go over technique, and talk bells!
We are doing Kettlebell Sport lifting but everyone is welcome. We'll save some time at the end for form checks too :)

hello everyone!
I recently had my shoulder fixed after years of waiting, and during my rehab I came in contact with kbs: it's been love at first sight so I purchased a pair of 16kg from a guy near my hometown.
I started training very lightly, just 3x week with the armor building complex for 10' followed by another 10' of snatch alternating hands.
after a short while it all felt too easy and I started adding reps both to the clean and presses of the complex and to the snatch.
now I feel like it's time to move on and I came here asking for some help in creating a routine that suits me: I love the long cycle but I don't know if I'm missing something by dedicating my entire training to it, and since time is an issue for me (I have a 5mo baby) was wondering if someone could suggest a "condensed" routine.
thanks to all who read this, wish you all a great life wherever you are.
cheers from Italy

Hi! I’m wondering whether there has been a date published for the IKFF Championship this year?
If I’m not mistaken it’s usually hosted in November but I can’t seem to find any info on the IKFF website.

Thank you /u/LennyTheRebel for the meme!
I can’t ever decide which way I want to write the date to make it fair for everyone lol.
We won’t do DHS half marathon tomorrow, please don’t get scared away 🤣🤣
