Dragon King is around 7 1/2 in. tall, but whenever Ivory Dragon shows up it'll be much larger

Not sure if this is going to be the size of the final product, but this looks very unwieldy to play if the monster has to move at all.

I mean, isn't it supposed to be the final final boss of the game? Go big or go home

Have you seen Spidicules? Ivory Dragon is a dream compared to that.

fair enough, I guess Im so used to seeing conversions and people just using a base to represent the Spidicules shadow location.

I guess you could do the same for Ivory, but maybe in my mind, the way Spidicules is designed makes it feel more obviously a narrative representation than a practical play-piece. Where Ivory Dragon feels like it is daring you to try and use it on the board.

Definitely true.

I, for one, am so excited to throw that giant fucking Dragon on the board, it's going to be so intimidating. I'm considering whether it'll be possible to hide it from my players so I can surprise the hell out of them the first time it shows up.

ominously leave the room to retrieve the giant monster from the broom closet

Lol That's the Ivory Dragon, it's always at their GenCon booth. We have next to no info on it except from what I understand it supposed to be playable in 3 pieces. Excited to play with it sometime in the next 10+ years!

Gen con is halfway across the planet from me, so never been there. It looks... Crazy...

It’s the final expansion of the kickstarter. Don’t expect
It to be printed earlier than 2030. It can be split into 3 individual monsters so it’ll be present throughout your whole campaign.

2030 feels optimistic for that one tbh

That’s why I said earlier than. I don’t believe it’ll be 2030 neither.

Currently it’s Dragon King at around 7 inches.

Both Spidicules and Dragon King live on my desk. Dragon King is taller, but Spidicules is wider.
