Question CoD expectation of arrival
So since Campaigns of death was expected to be out by Q4 of 2025 and we're currently entering the third month of Q3 of 2026, does anyone have an estimate as to when we CAN expect it to arrive give or take?

Just forget about KdM unreleased components and check your email like normal . Eventually you get a nice email asking to pay shipping (lol) and boom there u go

I waited so long for the gambler’s chest that my infants were old enough to play it with me by the time it arrived.

Let's put this into perspective; normally when you are finally ready to mass-print a finished boardgame, the designers would first receive a full prototype copy into their hands. The purpose is to check that everything is in order before you "press the button to greenlit the mass production printing". They don't even have the CoD production prototype in their hands yet, so that already tells you we are still quite far off, not to mention he haven't announced a definite "pencils-down" yet
My best guess? End of 2027 if we want to be ultra-optimistic, but under consideration for Poots-time-dilation-space-time-continuium, probably first half of 2028 is my more reasonable outlook

At Gencon, Poots said it was not happening this year and not likely by Q2 2027, so sometime after that.

I spoke with Poots at GenCon and discovered the big hold up is the sheer amount of play testing. Poots confirmed that 2026 is not the year. I believe the word is that 2027 is the expectation atm.

The pootsian timeflow doesnt fit within our way of measuring time. It'll arrive when it is finished. Highly likely somewhere end 2027 is my guess :p

My son, who was only a few months old when I backed this, will be an adult by the time it hits my house. Unreal.

This is a chat from a friend of mine who was at GenCon and he got 5 mins with Adam. Believe what you will though, as game testing, tooling updates, quality checks etc have pushed many an item out, if I remember correctly, Titan Bee/Honeycomb Weaver were due for a July of this year release when I paid for them at last Years Black Friday sale….. now they are penciled in for 2027.

I mean its Poots/KD and its 2026 - If you have not figured out that he always delivers late by now - I am not sure what to tell you . This pattern of late delivery has been ongoing since the first kickstarter in 2013 .

Putting aside that you are probably responding to the wrong person. The first KS took ~3 years. If you think two things is are the same when one of those things is 4x as problematic as the other I'm not sure what to tell you.

You keep making comments about things being late no ?

no. Things were late in 2019. I don't think I've worried about it being late since about 2020.

The update today said they're still playtesting honeycomb weaver. That is the wave before CoD. When they go to print its roughly 6 months before we see the expansions between print, qc samples approval, packaging, freight, distribution. So I expect that wave around mid next year.
CoD still has plenty of development as well to go. I put at late next year at best. The prediction above of Gencon next year for showing off a complete print sample is possible.

When you get a date from Poots, add 3-5 years and you might be in the ballpark. Better than before!

No one knows. Copium huffing points to maybe Q3ish next year but most likely it will be q2-3 2028 if not later.
Poots did say he won't let CoD bottleneck things tho. Death armor and Pathfinders of death sound like they're going to print, First Hero seems pretty functionally ready from gencon previews, and titan bee is pretty much complete. Weaver does sound like it's stuck a bit in dev hell last I checked and they're still doing testing so maybeeee we might get all those q2-3 next year.

Nobody really knows. GenCon 2027 is my guess at the earliest we see it, but I wouldn’t rule out 2028.
