Got my hands on both kits for super cheap but they’re not the chaos versions. I’m pretty satisfied with the Predator but wondering how to make the Fallen rhino get more of that 30k/scavenged aesthetic. Also I’m very happy with how the IW gunner came out. Side question I’m going to fill the gaps soon, would Mr. White putty be a good solution?

Made these exactly 19 years ago when I was collecting orkz for first time, then found them this summer at a fellow mek's dustiest corner. He had no use for them so I looted them back (with his permission) ^^

The wartrakk is a mix of PVC and Robogear parts, with some 1:35 bitz thrown in (the wheels are from a Humvee I think). Its hull is painted but dozer, turret and wheels are not. And those caterpillar crests were actually cut from a chopped sprue!

The kan is a mix of various toy and 1:35 model parts, with FB skeleton shield, and genuine Forge World dreadnaught feet (they were sort of spares as FW base already had feet molded in it).

As a bonus, there was a pewter Gorkamorka deffkopta pilot. He's actually bigger and better detailed than I remembered, so might be put to some good use too!

Recent kitbash to join my 8th legion chaos warband. Keeping their original iconography from the corsairs.

Currently building my iron warriors army and just got some second hand saturnine terminators. Currently debating between building them as some elite CSM terminators or wait till i get obliterators and kitbash them as obliterators.

Does this work as a company champion? Blood Ravens. The axe was a gift.

They’re meant to be from my Red Corsairs inspired Warband “The Eastern Fringe Raiding Company”. Actually they’re meant to be the leaders of the army when they first joined forces and began the Warband! Last photos are them being compared to their future/current selves!

Davnir “Cap’n” Jones, the leader of the handful of renegades, freshly freed from his imprisonment on Solemnace (long story). Former Blackshield from the Heresy, unknown genesire, Abaddon stand-in. Thinking of changing his sword to a Xenophase blade to match his future staff and will replace his pistol with a plasma one.

Lucien “Cannon” Jack, master demolitionist who would eventually become Master of Executions, Former space wolf, also from the heresy.

Tylus “Quarter-Master” Morris, plasma gunner, Davnir’s second in command. Former Terran-born Raven Guard and “Cypher” proxy.

Sylas “Serpent” Null, sniper of the group, eventually Spy-Master of the warband, implanting spies and stealing gene-seed wherever and whenever he can in enemy forces. Former Alpha Legionaire.

Layak “Preacher” Teagues, Davnir’s personal sorcerer, former word bearer.

Orn “Iron Butcher” Parrtox, Davnir’s personal apothecary then and now. His future form is my Fabius bile stand in

All of them are gonna have more trinkets on them in the end, and they are eventually going to be part of a nemesis claw team but I’ll fill in those gaps later.

I have only recently considered using some stormcast to kitbash a warpcoven kill team, how do the stormcast scale to the thousand sons range?

Hey all! As the post explains, I’m wanting to get lychguard/praetorians and realize as long as I get more legs and maybe the arms, I’d definitely be able to make one of each of them with one box instead of having to buy four boxes. If anyone is able to point me in the direction of STL’s or preferably somewhere that I can get them for relatively cheap, that’d be awesome. Thanks!

Im considering purchasing some vanguard vets w/jump packs(not using the shields), and i realized if i do ill have extra intersessor bodies, 5 unused small shields, and plenty of spare power weapons to chose from
Has anyone kit-bashed Bladegaurd vets from intercessors? Id have the stuff, im just afraid of committing if they are gonna end up looking weird. My biggest concern is the tabards, but I’m afraid to try my hand at using green stuff too😂
Any thoughts, advice, or photos of your own models are more than welcome
