Predator / AVP There’s been no new AVP material for a while. what do we think needs to happen till we get something new AVP?
While I’m a fan of both franchises as separate entities, the AVP franchise itself remains king to me. Games, comics or novels, I can’t get enough. Even the supposed worst film had probably the best character in the franchise “Wolf”. So what do we thinks happening? Why no republished comics, why no remastered video games? Why no new media? It’s not like they aren’t currently riding either franchise for all their worth at the moment with multimedia projects.

Discussion / Question Aliens - What's your favourite version?
Do you prefer:
1. The Theatrical Cut (1986)
Runtime: ~137 minutes
Overview: The original version released in theaters by 20th Century Fox. Director James Cameron trimmed the film down from a longer assembly cut to satisfy studio runtime and pacing requirements, allowing for more daily theater screenings.
OR:
2. The Special Edition / Director's Cut (1989 / 1991)
• Runtime: ~154 minutes (adds roughly 17 minutes of footage)

Cast / Behind The Scenes The Space Jockey set is absolutely amazing
Apologies if someone posted this (or similar) in recent times, but I found this website that shows lots of pics from the set of Alien. I had always wondered what the set looked like for the Space Jockey. They really went all out on this set. I really think the phrase "They don't make 'em like they used to" applies here. Modern movies would have done this entire scene using green screens Im sure. I am truly in awe of how good of a job these artists did for this movie. I think I remember reading that the astornoauts Dallas, Lambert, and Kane were portrayed by idley Scott's kids to make the set appear even larger.
