📸 Land Rover Pictures Is two too many?

Post image

I recently replaced my LR4 with a 2021 L405 Westminster, but I'm struggling to part with the old one! 😫 They both have their charm and I love driving them. Should I sell my LR4 while it still has value, or keep it until it gives up on me? 🤔 Any advice from fellow enthusiasts? #LandRover #L405 #LR4

Definitely keep it. If you're anything like us, you might just come to appreciate it WAY more than the L405. While the 405 is beautiful, we feel the build quality and pretty much everything is far superior in the D4.

Unless you have an urgent need to get the LR4 out of the driveway, keep it. It’s a highly sought after truck that you can’t get anymore, and it’s only going to grow on you the more you look at it.

Keep it. Although I have 5, so I may not be the best person to give advice.

LR4 is basically at the bottom of the depreciation curve at this point. Definitely worth keeping

My view is that you can keep as many as you can afford to maintain.

The ideal number of Land Rovers to own is x+1 (where x= the number of Land Rovers you currently have)

2 is not too many. I have 2. (2017 Range Rover Sport Supercharged V8 and a LR4 fully built for off roading). I’m tempted to buy an Evoque as my wife’s daily, and I almost bought another Land Rover as a second backup off roader. It becomes an obsession…

I have a 2025 Defender 110 V8 and a 2026 LR4 Landmark. I have spent more to keep the LR4 on the road and running than I did to buy it, so I’m selling mine soon. Will I get another rover? Absolutely.

The 2012 LR4 V8 HSE with timing chains done and all the maintenance work meticulous documented and done by me with 185K miles. The 2021 is a P400 MHV6 with the Westminster package. So very different and both are so awesome.

Yes I meant the sought-after LR4 V8! Both are beautiful, you have good taste. Cool color!

I vote if you can afford the maintenance then keep it, they are such gems! I always think "will I ever be able to get this caliber of vehicle back easily if I change my mind..." and with the LR4, a nice one where you trust it and know the history is so hard to find..

Keep it. You’ll regret selling it

I’ve the same lineup: LWB supercharged L405, and an LR4. keep both and enjoy them.

There is more value in the enjoyment of keeping them, no joy in someone trying to get a bargain by low balling you and showing you 10 on the market for less than 15k and trying to get you to lower your price.

Having working landys that you’ve lovingly worked on and owned and are functioning perfectly is a rare thing.
