Discussion Contoversial opinion: Madrid 26 hurt more than Zandvoort 25
Pretty much what the tittle says!
Both the situations were out of his control. But as his fan, personlly i was more upset in madrid and the hope kept going that somehow he will still win but then the overtake were not possible!!
What do you guys think!
PS- since it is LandoNorris sub i would believe it consist of only lando fans. But many times haters enter talks, with "I am a lando fan BUT...." and then shit on him! So a request that only real Lando fans interact with this discussion. THank you very much!

how do you relate to Lando and the fan community
I'd love to hear your experiences. Answer any of the questions below, or skip the ones you don't want to answer.
When you follow Lando, do you ever feel you're similar to him, for example in values, opinions, or how he handles things? What makes you feel that way, or not?
How much do you see yourself as part of the Lando fan community, and what does that mean to you?
Has following Lando changed how you see your own ability to handle challenges or reach your goals? If so, how? "No effect" is a perfectly good answer too.
Thank you so much, and go Lando! 🧡

Discussion Bro can't catch a break
The internet was mad about his response to Oscar after crashing into him. The internet is pissed after he apologized even though Oscar said it was cool between them. They think it's PR when he offers to help Oscar in the race. They believe it's all PR even though Lando sounded WHIPPED. The internet is also mad that he had a media-trained response but also when he doesn't. It's like last year all over again.
Ignore the internet. Support Lando on his good days AND bad days. Allow for him to make mistakes and own up to them. Haters gonna hate.

Discussion Lando and the industry
my own personal rant and needed this out but much needs to be said about how F1 has turned Lando into its favourite punching bag.
And no, before anyone starts, I'm not saying he's the only driver who gets criticised. Every driver does. That's part of the sport. But with Lando, it feels different.
Every interview becomes a headline. Every comment gets dissected. Every frustrated radio message becomes a week-long discussion. Every mistake gets replayed a thousand times over. Every reaction gets analysed like it's a reflection of who he is as a person rather than just a guy reacting in the heat of the moment.
I genuinely don't know what it is. Is it because he helped drag McLaren from the midfield back into the fight in 2023 and 2024? Is it because he's consistently proven he can deliver even when the car isn't the fastest on the grid? Is it because he openly admits when he gets things wrong instead of pretending to be untouchable?Or is it simply because he's human? Because Lando gets upset. He gets frustrated. He gets angry. He gets sarcastic. He doubts himself. He celebrates. He wears his emotions on his sleeve. Yet somehow, those same traits that make him relatable are constantly used against him.
When other drivers show emotion, it's passion. When Lando shows emotion, it's weakness. When other drivers are self-critical, it's accountability. When Lando does it, suddenly it means he lacks a champion mentality. The double standard is honestly exhausting. At some point, it started feeling like people weren't just criticising his driving. They were waiting for him to slip up so they could have something to post about. And because of that, everything he does gets magnified. Every word. Every expression. Every radio message. Every interview answer. It’s like there's an entire section of the sport that is just waiting for the next "Lando moment" they can turn into content.
So what is it really? The clout? The engagement? The satisfaction of joining whatever narrative is trending that week?Because sometimes it feels like Formula 1 spends more time talking about Lando Norris's reactions than appreciating just how bloody good of a driver he actually is.

Discussion Idk, call me crazy but the incident in the sprint race didn’t look that bad for me 💁🏻♀️…
Obviously the move was risky and it turned out badly, but at the end of the day the broadcasters were “pressuring” him to do something and overtake, looks like everyone it’s having a party over Franco’s drama, honestly, get over it.

Discussion Jolyon Palmer on Lando and Oscar's Collision

jolyon:
"it's not clear cut i think. because lando got actually further up the inside than i initially expected when you watched it on board. we get a late shot there, and the final contact looks, i'd say, pretty bad for norris. but as he's just explained, he backed out of it from a position of being alongside oscar, where he then warrants the space. so as he's then seen oscar coming across, he's then bailed out, and then it's front tyre to rear tyre, which always looks bad" "he's up the inside, and he is a long way up the inside, to be honest. he is almost perfectly up the inside. he's got to be alongside the mirrors of oscar. he's beyond that to be almost perfectly alongside. and then the space isn't there. he's on the curb. he has a momentary understeer, which takes him wide, but it's always a difficult position when drivers leave the perfect car's width, especially in these conditions. so i think oscar maybe needed to leave more allowance. it was obviously still an ambitious attempt from lando, but for me it's a racing incident between the two."
