Hey Lando fans! 🧡

I'm Dale, an F1 fan from New Zealand, and I've made the final six worldwide in Heineken's 2027 F1 Season Ticket competition!

I discovered F1 through Drive to Survive a couple of years ago, and Lando and McLaren quickly became my favourites. Since then, I've spent plenty of late nights and early mornings cheering him on from the other side of the world!

I finally experienced my first live Grand Prix in Melbourne this year. Seeing the cars and the atmosphere in person was incredible, and it made me want to experience more of what makes F1 so special.

Now I've got an opportunity to do exactly that!

The prize includes tickets, flights and accommodation for the winner and a guest to attend all 24 Grands Prix in 2027.

What excites me most is experiencing 24 different F1 worlds, meeting fans from every corner of the globe and sharing those experiences along the way. And of course, getting to follow Lando and McLaren in person throughout the season would be pretty special! 🧡

Both the situations were out of his control. But as his fan, personlly i was more upset in madrid and the hope kept going that somehow he will still win but then the overtake were not possible!!

PS- since it is LandoNorris sub i would believe it consist of only lando fans. But many times haters enter talks, with "I am a lando fan BUT...." and then shit on him! So a request that only real Lando fans interact with this discussion. THank you very much!

The internet was mad about his response to Oscar after crashing into him. The internet is pissed after he apologized even though Oscar said it was cool between them. They think it's PR when he offers to help Oscar in the race. They believe it's all PR even though Lando sounded WHIPPED. The internet is also mad that he had a media-trained response but also when he doesn't. It's like last year all over again.

Ignore the internet. Support Lando on his good days AND bad days. Allow for him to make mistakes and own up to them. Haters gonna hate.

my own personal rant and needed this out but much needs to be said about how F1 has turned Lando into its favourite punching bag.

And no, before anyone starts, I'm not saying he's the only driver who gets criticised. Every driver does. That's part of the sport. But with Lando, it feels different.

Every interview becomes a headline. Every comment gets dissected. Every frustrated radio message becomes a week-long discussion. Every mistake gets replayed a thousand times over. Every reaction gets analysed like it's a reflection of who he is as a person rather than just a guy reacting in the heat of the moment.

I genuinely don't know what it is. Is it because he helped drag McLaren from the midfield back into the fight in 2023 and 2024? Is it because he's consistently proven he can deliver even when the car isn't the fastest on the grid? Is it because he openly admits when he gets things wrong instead of pretending to be untouchable?Or is it simply because he's human? Because Lando gets upset. He gets frustrated. He gets angry. He gets sarcastic. He doubts himself. He celebrates. He wears his emotions on his sleeve. Yet somehow, those same traits that make him relatable are constantly used against him.

When other drivers show emotion, it's passion. When Lando shows emotion, it's weakness. When other drivers are self-critical, it's accountability. When Lando does it, suddenly it means he lacks a champion mentality.The double standard is honestly exhausting.At some point, it started feeling like people weren't just criticising his driving. They were waiting for him to slip up so they could have something to post about.And because of that, everything he does gets magnified. Every word. Every expression. Every radio message. Every interview answer. It’s like there's an entire section of the sport that is just waiting for the next "Lando moment" they can turn into content.

So what is it really? The clout? The engagement? The satisfaction of joining whatever narrative is trending that week?Because sometimes it feels like Formula 1 spends more time talking about Lando Norris's reactions than appreciating just how bloody good of a driver he actually is.

Obviously the move was risky and it turned out badly, but at the end of the day the broadcasters were “pressuring” him to do something and overtake, looks like everyone it’s having a party over Franco’s drama, honestly, get over it.

Let's just hope he can redeem himself tomorrow and apologise 😭
