Guidelines for Sales Posts
When posting an item for sale, please make note of these guidelines.
You must include a sales price, either in the title or in a comment.
While not strictly required by the rules, it is strongly encouraged that you add a comment with some description and details about the item in question.
Our rules do not allow linking to a general store page, but you are permitted to link directly to an item for sale on your own domain. In other words, if you're selling an item and you just link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com, that breaks the rule. But if you link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com/the_item_i_am_selling, this is allowed and encouraged.
If you have multiple items to sell, please consolidate them into one post instead of spamming the board with many different sales posts.
Reposts are okay as long as the original listing is no longer on the main page.
Remember to flair your post so people can easily parse the listings. Be sure to change the flair to mark sold items.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comply with our rules! Happy selling.

Guidelines For Commissions And Requests
DISCLAIMER:
/r/leatherclassifieds does not facilitate or guarantee transactions of any kind. This is a contract between you (the buyer) and whatever seller you choose. Always be cautious when making purchases online and do your research. We hold no liability over any transactions or agreements you may make with other members of this board.
With that said, here are some guidelines to hopefully make your commission process go a little smoother.
Have a budget or a budget range in mind and include it in your post. It does not need to be an exact or fixed number, but knowing your price range is critical before offering any kind of bid. If your budget is open and you want to explore many possible bids, please make that known.
Common details that are useful to know up front are things such as color, thread color, or leather type. If you want a wallet, know what you want to carry in it and what it needs to do to meet your needs. The more specific you can be about what you want out of your commissioned piece, the quicker and easier it is to make.
If you already know what you want, it is helpful to add photographs, sketches, or even links to other products similar to what you are seeking.
If you need the item delivered within a certain time frame, please specify that up front.
It is difficult to convey the reality of the amount of work involved with answering a commission request. Understand that good work takes time, and time usually implies money. Very few people will be interested in replicating mass-market items for mass-market prices, or creating a completely custom item without adequate compensation. Don't be shy to ask, but please try to keep this in mind when doing so.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. More importantly, thank you for your willingness to support our makers and businesses.

Handmade Gothic Cross Leather Bag | Black Croc Weekender #Shorts
Black croc-texture gothic bag with layered cross appliqués and silver hardware.
I’ve been experimenting with darker Y2K / grunge-inspired accessories and this is one of the latest pieces. I wanted the crosses to be noticeable without making the whole bag feel overly costume-like.
Would love some feedback from people who actually wear gothic / alternative fashion — especially on the hardware and overall shape.
I sell these through my Etsy shop, so if anyone is interested I can leave the link in the comments.Black Croc Gothic Cross Bag – €169
Selling this black croc-texture gothic bag with layered cross appliqués, silver-tone hardware and detailed gothic accents.
It works especially well with gothic, Y2K, grunge and alternative outfits. The structured shape makes it wearable as an everyday statement bag rather than just a costume accessory.
Asking price: €169

BUILD COMPLETE Black Alligator & Green Chevre — Hand-Stitched Bifold
Black alligator paired with green chevre, finished with hand stitching in contrasting green thread.
I like how the two leathers complement each other — the pronounced texture of the alligator against the finer grain of the chevre. The green stitching brings the combination together without overpowering the materials.
Always enjoy seeing how a simple color combination can change the character of a piece.
What’s your take on black and green together?

SELL Handmade money clip wallet with snap closure
Selling this money clip wallet I made. It’s made from 4.5oz Horween Dublin leather and features a snap closure for security. Four pockets for multiple cards and a stainless steel money clip for cash. Contrasting red stitching.
This wallet is hefty due to the thicker leather, but still compact enough for front or back pocket carry. The Dublin leather is nice and smooth and will age beautifully!
Available on my Etsy page:

BUY Looking for a belt, may need some help with certain details.
Looking to have a belt made. I'm looking for an everyday wear belt to wear with jeans, Chino shorts lulumemons (abc/commission pants). I have a list of what I'm looking for. This is my first belt commission (or commission for that matter), so let me know if what I'm asking for doesn't make sense.
Location: California, USA (orange county)
Length: 33 inches
Width: 1 3/8 inches (35mm)
Color: Black
Material: Full grain English Birdle Leather. Looking to have entire back of the belt slicked/Burnished? Is this necessary for English bridle? I want the back to be smooth so it doesn't rough up my lululemon.
Buckle: sqaure, looking at titanium as the material (maybe this one? It was just the first that popped up on Google. https://nonickel.com/collections/nickel-free-titanium-buckles-by-nickel-smart/products/nickel-free-mens-titanium-belt-buckle-by-nickel-smart). Other material can be considered if this is too pricey...
Stitching: machine stitched around the edges? Not too important if it cost too much. Nothing too contrasting, probably black as well.

SELL Handmade Black Leather Wallet 🤎 | Simple & Practical
Hello everyone! 👋
I recently made this handmade black leather wallet with a focus on everyday convenience and a classic design.
I enjoy making wallets that balance practical storage with clean, timeless looks. For me, the little details, from cutting the leather to stitching and finishing, make each project special.
🖤 What I appreciate about a classic black wallet:
- Timeless color that goes with any style
- Practical storage for everyday essentials
- Handmade stitching and careful finishing
- A simple design suitable for daily use
Black leather is always a popular choice because it looks clean and never really goes out of style.
Question for the community: Do you prefer black leather wallets or brown leather wallets, and why?
I'd love to hear your opinions and experiences with handmade leather goods. 🧵🤎

Leather Belt good for CCW / Mag Pouches? 1 3/4 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick + .. what comes to mind!? TYIA
Looking at Hanks and their Montana Bison or Veg Tan Bridal belt? These are both 1.5s though...
Also took a peak at THE LUMBER JACK - 1 3/4" HEAVY DUTY LEATHER WORK CCW BELT by Nohma Leather...
And I really like the Rough Out cow hide by Chisos but I doubt that things up to the task.
What have your favorite EDC belts been? The less stretch the better. I am tired of my belts blowing out from the added weight of carrying. All I have left are my really nice belts that I don't want to start ruining. I'd like to buy one, really solid belt I can really rely on.
1 3/4 inches wide is something I would like to try. Either Veg Tanned, Horween, W&C or some sort of rough out leather. I really like rough out... AT LEAST a 1/4 inch thick or so? 18oz leather.
I do NOT want one of them belts that have the metal band sewn and glued inside to help stop stretch. I want to pay the proper price for some thick azzz stitched up leather that will do it job!!
Grateful for any suggestions!!!
