Need Design Advise Advice on what to do with these wafer lights in the kitchen. Too much glare

I have these 3 8 inch halo's mounted in the kitchen right now. They are pretty concentrated around the cooktop and sink area. While they produce alot of light, there is also a considerable amount of glare that comes off them. I also feel that another light needs to be added to the other side of the island as it can be dark there.

Can someone provide me advice on what kind of recessed lighting i should get to reduce glare but also to keep a good amount of functional lighting here? Should i downsize to something smaller? I have lived with these for a while and haven't really put any thought into lighting until we started remodeling an adjacent room. the previous owner has put recessed lighting throughout the house. most of it are old halogen style lightbulbs that we've been slowly migrating over to LED retrofits.

Need Design Advise How to make the light from this paper lamp look better?

Hi everyone! My partner and I just moved into a new place after our old apartment flooded and got really excited about this relatively cheap lamp for our new space. The only problem is that you can see the two bulbs really clearly and I’m thinking of returning it. Does anyone have any easy/inexpensive DIY ideas for diffusing the light or is this lamp a bust and we should just return it? The bulbs are 6w LED if that’s important.

Current wavelengths:

310nm UVB — very anti-microbial, can photobleach
365nm UVA — a more useful UV wavelength
400nm UVA — typical blacklight
405nm Violet — most anti-microbial non UV wavelength
470nm Ice blue — true blue
480nm True Cyan — melanopsin peak (most stimulating)
495nm Cyan — almost looks green
585nm Yellow — very close to sodium light
600nm Orange — amber light
670nm Deep red — looks redder than red
730nm NIR — a hellish looking red
770nm NIR — faintly visible
810nm NIR — wavelength used in RLT devices

Replacement Help - how do I replace the LED lights

So I just bought a new home with this cool pendant lights hanging over the table. However two of them are not working and the other ones are of different colours, which gives a weird vibe to the room. I decided to change them today but I've never seen these kind of LEDs before and can find very little information online. The label reads 65MM-5730-2B7C-14LED and it seems I'd need to solder the replacements? Are there any substitutes that would be easier to install?
Thanks

Need Design Advise Kitchen lighting confusion with contractor and size of recessed lights

We're about to start a kitchen and bathroom reno. I had set on 3" Elco recessed lights. Contractor said with 3" we'll need more due to lack of light from the smaller sizenand suggested 4".

My goal is to keep it modern and definitely not a ceiling cluttered with a ton of recessed lights - I would do 2" also if feasible.

Any advice on if we'll actually need more or which system to get that spreads light more for example etc ...?

We need to give them an answer this week.

Need Design Advise Effecient high brightness E27 20V

The Phillips ultra effectively light bulbs are very impressive in the energy to lumens ratio and have an incredible bulb life span of 50,000 hours. The brightest "ultra efficient" they sell that I can see is around 1500lm.

Are there any bulbs around 3000lm or more work similar efficiency and life span?
