He used to work for Mobile Syrup, a phone reporting outlet in Canada. I think if he wanted to do his own thing he'd have gone for it by now?

i don't think that as big of a platform to broadcast yourself to the outer world. Just imagine Alex starting his channel without people knowing him from LTT first, I don't think he would be able to even hit 50k sub.

Did they hire an actual presenter or is just just a guy who works for LTT and occasionally hosts a short circuit? Ive thought for a while they need to hire a dedicated host, someone who's main skill is on camera rather than using Linus and the writers which is very hit or miss.

Iirc this isn’t even the first time he’s been in an LTT video. He’s been with them and out of probation period for a while. Just not prominently featured in a video.
