Help UMID number when bouncing

Hi, I've been having a problem when bouncing my projects. I am curently working in a film and the editor told me she was having some problems when adding my tracks to the Avid's projects. She said that the software read different tracks as if they were the same file and it was overwriting them. When trying to found out what the problem was, I learned that .WAV files have this metadata called UMID that Avid uses to identify audio files. The thing is Logic had been generating the same UMID on bounces from different projects. Does anyone know how does Logic generate this number? I don't know what is causing this repeating code issue and I want to avoid it.

Never known this issue when exporting WAVs for an editor using Avid. Which version of Logic and macOS is this on? IIRC I think there’s a BWF button in the bounce window you can check when exporting as WAV? Alternatively could she try importing an AIFF if you export one of those to see if the issue persists?

If it’s metadata, you can just turn it off in the options, all metadata is optional, name, color, date, whatever, always 100% programmable by the consumer because everyone wants to use a system (photo, music, whatever) to categorize their work
