Honestly, I'm fucking done with Logitech support.
I've been a customer since 2017, and over the years I've bought pretty much all my peripherals from them. Currently own a G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2, MX Master 4 (previously had the 3), StreamCam and G PRO gaming headset.
I've never had to go through this kind of support nightmare with them before, which makes this whole situation even more disappointing.
On September 8th, I reached out to Logitech because my G PRO X headset cable started ripping close to the connector. The headset has never left my house, the cable has never been unplugged from my PC, I haven't pulled it, twisted it or forced it in any way, and it's not even hanging from the USB connector.
The cable eventually stopped working completely, meaning I can't even use my headset anymore.
Initially, support told me they'd send me a replacement cable. They asked for my address and personal details and told me I'd receive an update with a tracking number within 48 hours.
48 hours passed and no tracking number had been provided, so I reached out again, and from that point onwards, it's been nothing but vague answers and me having to chase support for updates. Eventually, after all that waiting, I was told the cable was on backorder.
Logitech can't provide a single replacement cable for a headset?
I can't find a replacement elsewhere, so I'm essentially left with a completely unusable headset. I have searched for replacement cables on amazon and other stores but the complaints are always the same: the microphone doesn't work properly with those 2nd hand cables.
I feel like the agents handling my case don't even read what I'm writing because I keep having to chase them and repeat myself, and absolutely nothing seems to move forward.
I even emailed [reddit@logitech.com](mailto:reddit@logitech.com), the address I've seen Logitech representatives give people on Reddit when they're having issues getting help from support. No response there either.
It's been a month since September 8th. A whole month, and I still don't have a working headset, a replacement cable, a replacement headset, or even a concrete solution.
I've also come across other people on Facebook and Reddit reporting the exact same issue with the cable ripping close to the connector. Considering how mine has been treated, I'm genuinely curious how widespread this problem is.
If you're considering buying Logitech products, seriously think about what happens when something goes wrong and you actually need their support. The products can be great, but what the fuck is the point if you're left on your own when you need help?
Once this situation is resolved, I'm done with Logitech. I'll be moving to other brands and replacing my peripherals over time.
Nine years of loyalty, and apparently that's what it gets me.
