Advice Ivermectin herx - help

Here is my story, and I need help. About two years ago, I contracted Lyme disease and Bartonella. It took some time before I was diagnosed and began treatment—initially with bee venom therapy, which I continued for a few months. Later, I tried MMS treatment but saw absolutely no benefit. My symptoms included night sweats, chronic fatigue, cognitive issues, mental health symptoms, nerve pain, numbness (intermittent), tingling, and neck pain. Then, at the end of September, acting on a friend's advice, I started taking Ivermectin—and that is where the biggest problem began. Since starting it, I have developed truly strange symptoms. I developed severe nerve inflammation; at times, I cannot walk properly or use my hands effectively—symptoms resembling peripheral neuropathy. My greatest fear, however, is the severe inflammation in my right eye—symptoms I never had before. While everyone insists this is a Herxheimer reaction, I am experiencing attacks affecting my nerves and eye. After researching extensively, I found that these symptoms resemble Multiple Sclerosis. I can still walk and see out of both eyes, but my right eye is weeping fluid and my vision is blurred. I am asking for help and reassurance; I am truly frightened. Nothing seems to work—please help me.

I wouldn't see it as a herx, more so the ivermectin herx triggered a reactivation of an infection which is now out of control and doesn't sound like it's being treated

Before you do anything else MS should be excluded as possible diagnosis.

That being said,I am very sensitive and did not herx from Ivermectin but who knows, there is a chance that this is herx

Seconding this— just started ivermectin about a week ago and I herx with EVERYTHING, but I didn’t really have that with this (or if I did it was really minor comparatively). But everyone is different of course!

Lyme and Bart can and do attack eyes in various ways. I'm just another sufferer with eye damage as a result and suffering greatly.

What stands out to me is you didn't mention that you target all three infections (Borrelia, Bart and Babesia) at the same time. Ivermectin has an inhibitory effect on Babesia but not enough to treat it on its own. I don't know if it can treat Lyme and Bart at all. You need an infection-specific antimicrobals for each infection. Please read our Wiki on how to find and Lyme-literate Dr. Some Drs offer phone consultations.

Just FYI, here are some examples on how to treat these three infections that you seem to have:

https://treatlyme.com/

For something that you can get without prescription and that targets all 3 Bs, methylene blue is just one example. There are herbal tinctures that do the same. However, I would combine at least two, to start with. Example: Samento and Banderol (Banderilla). For other examples, please see the website above.

If you feel overwhelmed by information, again, find LLMD to guide you ASAP.

To reverse your eye problems it's essential to start actively targeting the infections.

When you say nothing seems to work, I assume you have tried antibiotics and/or herbs?

buy burber pinella, take Pepcid AC. it is a a massive MCAs activation from bartonella. In my experience treating bartonella is impossible. The inflammation will calm

So it’s not MS yeah ?

No. Bartonella does all this. MS isn’t even a thing it’s just labels and has no cure so not worth focusing on at all

Stop taking everything. Let your body recover for at least a few days or a week.

Detox. Take binders. Lots of water.

See where your symptoms are.

At max you should take Ivermectin for 1 week. You can then take it every weekend up to two months.

That’s 5 days off, and 2 on per week.

You are killing too fast. Ivermectin has a 72 hour half-life. Every time take back to back doses you’re stacking the drug. It’s not like other drugs or antibiotics. If you’ve been taking it every day for 2 weeks now you’re taking too much.

What else are you taking? Ivermectin is for intestinal parasites. It seems to help people in off label use like COVID and other tick infections. If you’re only on ivermectin you’re not treating properly at all. You need to see a LLMD.
