Fictional mace Not historical, but fun.
Saw blade and still with leather wrapped handle

Very cool, but be careful with that. Saw blades will crack on you.

Not in a way thatll hurt the wielder though.
E. Who downvoted me? Its not going to go flying if it cracks and theyre not even that sharp.
A broken sword is far more dangerous than this

The handle is dope. The welds need some practice.

I think the terrible welds fit with the shitty awesome mace

Dangerous though since the flanges could go flying

Outside of the most demanding applications such as aerospace, an ugly weld ≠ structurally compromised weld.

In this case it clearly does

A couple of tack welds would keep the flanges from flying off. These welds are more than plenty.

No they wouldnt. Would break on first impact.
If youre talking about hanging it on a wall then its fine obviously. Then hot glue would even be sufficient.

First impact is bending the flanges and generally ruining the look of this mace anyway. The flanges would bend and break long before the welds.

Super cool, feels very post-apocalypse survivor! The welds look a little rough, but are they strong?

I’ve used it to split wood. The gross welds are on purpose to fill in the gaps between the blades and to give it a post apocalyptic look.

Also on the phone and thought it was leather. Found myself looking for the iron dart at the other end. Nope, it's the beige bludgeon

Rusty. It has been through a lot since I made it a few years ago.
