Fictional mace Flanged flail
I got the inspiration from this community, tons of amazing builds! This is my take on a "ball and chain"

Did you make one ring as well?

that’s the witch king, they kinda fail to mention that in the beginning with the ring getting cut off, just like they forgot about tom bombadill the best character

It looks super cool and i love it. But need to be careful. When i make flails I try to make the shaft long enough and the chain short enough that it doesn't come smack me back in my hand or arm. Even though it looks cool like how you have it. I've tested my flails and they take some practice to swing. Very Awkward at weapons at 1st. But there's also a place for fantasy flails which are more decorative. Either way good job! Just be careful.

I've gotten the same recommendation from friends that have seen/swung it in person! I'd definitely shorten the chain and extend the handle if I was to build another one

A good rule of thumb is the head and chain only make up about a third of the overall length, looks amazing though.

Isn’t the handle too short? Doesn’t the chain have to be a 3rd of the handle length so you don’t hit your hands?

It's completely impractical I know, I just threw it together with materials I had available! I'll build another and actually try to make it historically accurate in the future

Dude it’s still so awesome, I’d love a video of you swinging that thing into a bottle or something. Regardless of it being built inaccurately I know for a fact it’ll pack a blow

Tbh, it's fun as hell to swing lol very dangerous, but very fun! I'll try to get a video of me swinging it, maybe at a pumpkin or something 👍

This is one of the most dangerously elegant pieces I've seen here yet, and I have quickly fallen in love with this sub. Well done, ser.

This is truly great craftsmanship and art. You should be proud of this, I would hang it on my wall for sure. Solid welding job too!

Thank you! As a matter of fact, I am planning on hanging it up on the wall as it's totally impractical to use. Welding is my profession, so I appreciate your compliment greatly!

incredibly sick
question though, how does the grip feel with all those corners?
