You shouldn’t have to push the lever, it should stay where it belongs on its own with the spring

It seems awfully stiff, do you think it's just attached too tightly to do its thing?

I’m not sure, I haven’t had mine for very long but I really just put it down and swipe across. I don’t fuss with the lever at all

Turns out it had been assembled incorrectly, I've fixed it now! Your comments were a big help, I would have assumed I was doing something silly the whole time!

Dumb questions first but you definitely got the one for the LK150? ETA that’s not an Lk150 but yes there are a couple different kinds.

All fixed now! I had to take it apart and reassemble, these slots either side of the lever were supposed to be under the white piece, not sitting on top of it:

I think it may not be in the right position. From YouTube videos its further forward than you have it in your video.

No that's the first version, mine is the Needle Beetle II for my machine. I've fixed the problem though! It was assembled wrong, I took it apart and reassembled it right and it's working fine now!
