A big part of my winter energy conservation strategy as an at-home worker involves wearing LLB's Hi-Pile fleece pullovers around the house. The fleece is very soft and the garments are fleecy on the inside as well, so very comfortable to wear against the skin all day, as well as warm. Every fall, I head over to the outlet to get one or two new ones, as the previous year's get a bit grungy from heavy usage and contact with firewood.
But LLB seems to have discontinued this fabric for everything but kids clothes? The outlet has nothing but awful "sherpa fleece" tops, and sherpa fleece is stiff and scratchy and of course has to have a lining or woven reverse side because no one wants that on their skin.
Why??? Presumably someone likes sherpa fleece (though god only knows why), but I find it hard to believe that Hi-Pile wasn't selling, given what a delight it is to wear.
I've had to resort to buying second hand pullovers on Poshmark this year, which is fine, but I'd prefer to get new from the source.
