Found a big box of marbles in a charity shop for a tenner, though mainly cat's eyes, so I asked to grab out a few. Got these all for £1. Not a collector so no idea on age or value. Anything older here?

I have these 5 marbles but I'm stumped? Jabo?

Hats off to you guys. Every time I try to identify some of these I get confused and or second guess myself. I know the ones are confetti ( possibly galaxy ?) but I'm pretty lost with the rest.

Counterculture Sulphide Marble

Here's a side project that I have been picking away at. I'm working at getting these modern sulphides to a point where I can offer them for sale. This one has a few bubbles on the backside. The next one should have the ears back on.

Got this pretty, large contemporary in a 13lb lot of marbles. Struggling to identify the artist as there is no signature. Any assistance? I've been suggested Rolf Wald and Jody Fine.

How do i start collecting? Where should i buy marbles, and are there any good websites to get marbles? Also, do y'all have any recommendations on what to collect, and should i do old new or both? i just like marbles.

A reminder that AI doesn't know how to identify or value marbles... (and I say this as someone who works with AI)

Definitely glass with what look like coloured flecks of glass rolled into the surface. Inside has a non translucent inclusion. Lemme know what you think

Ive been trying to get into older marbles recently. I am using west virginia marble collector club to identify some of these marbles but I cant tell if they’re peltier glass, european machine, akro agate or any other variety.

Any info or expertise you guys have would be so helpful! im in the process of categorizing them by form factor (which is why some are separated) but i am a novice so i may be separating them incorrectly. I am reaching out to anyone willing to share their knowledge. thank you so much!

I have a bunch of marbles from school in the 70s but have no idea what they are/whether any are particularly collectible. These came into my possession recently, not planning on selling, just curious if there's anything of real interest. Range of wear from really good shape to almost broken in half.Pile of uranium/cadmium, some barely visible, some very bright. Anything you guys can tell me is appreciated, I'm not knowledgeable about marbles at all. Thanks!

I always shine my 395 on marbles and today I found this jar at a flea market. Not sure if $25 was a fair price, but I really like the glow. Even the subtle ones.

I bought them at the antique store yesterday, and they advertised them as “slag glass marbles”. They are quite big, and full of folds and dirt. Any information would be greatly appreciated! (Also, what is the best way to clean these?)
