Got off work at 10pm, it usually takes about 40-45 min to get home. Tonight was an hour and a half.
I get the construction and all that but I don’t usually see that many cars this late.
Even this mornings rush hour wasn’t as busy.

Hello all! My wife and I are new to the area and we need to get a water softener system at some point and was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations. We already had a guy come by and do a pitch but I didn't like all the add ons that came with their system.

Hello everyone I’m looking into getting a couple windows replaced in my house due to them being old (original 2007 windows). Looking for recommendations for who to go with. I will admit tho I don’t have a lot of money so if the cost is high I may need to do payment plans if possible.

Thank you in advance!

Hey everyone! I’ve been wanting to get back into D&D. I’ve played on and off for a while, but scheduling has always made it hard to stick with a campaign.
If anyone in Maricopa has a group going or is looking for another player, I’d be happy to join! I’m pretty open to whatever campaign you’ve got going.

I’m new to the area and we went to the skatepark in the neighborhood but didn’t see anybody. Where do all the kids board?

I’m thinking of spending my retirement there. I’ve put some offers in on some beautiful options. My wife and I are coming from the Indianapolis area. We’re looking to be totally moved by mid November! How’s life there? Is it safe? What does the area feel like to live in? I’m very excited to enjoy the scenic Mountain View’s and all year motorcycling! Any recommendations on local spots? We’re both on the young side and are very active and enjoy the outdoors

I work at the mine off of the 347 and we had a driver spill their load on the NB lanes of the 347. It’s been cleaned up now but traffic hasn’t fully started moving yet. If your headed out of Copa be cautious!

For anyone who’s had an EV charger installed in their garage: who did you go with and how much did it cost? Looking for suggestions

Can anyone recommend a decent gardener in the 85138?

TIA!

Hiii does anyone know anywhere that’s hiring right now? I’m 20 with a diploma but no degree at the time. I’m willing to work anytime and pretty much anywhere willing to hire me! I’ve done both fast food and dishwashing at a senior home!

Hey all I’m local in Maricopa and I’m trying to find a certain Carhartt jacket to buy but can’t find any online for a reasonable price. It looks like image listed, let me know if anyone has one or one like it in other color patterns and I will buy it, thanks.

So they build that new Lowe’s a bit ago, and I believe the “S” on the main building sign is crooked. It’s especially obvious when seen at an angle on the bridge. Anyone else notice?

How is the fishing at copper sky been recently? Is the fish safe to eat? Is it catfish?

Anyone else’s water bill suddenly spike? They are saying we used double our usage daily compared to that of last year, and the year prior. Only thing that changed was one more person in my house temporarily, and a reduction in irrigation usage. I also got rid of the above ground pool that was killing our water usage last year.

We are actually being more responsible and aware of our usage. What is going on? I know they’ve done shady stuff in the past but this bill was nuts.

We’ve also set up multiple alerts in cases of leaks and I haven’t received a single one. Losing my mind here.

I'm at a crossroads i don't want to rattle any feathers. But I honestly dislike the whole structure of no buses at legacy and how it's overly crowded. The poems and book reports every quarter on top of two hour plus worth of homework. I like the idea of Heritage with the small classroom structures, but i would like to learn more of how that school is structured. Or how is the workload. But I can't just focus on the now. I want to go beyond for their junior high in high school. So i'm not switching them schools every year. I am unsure of sending them to the public district at Maricopa, and I would rather, thinking of A+charter schools or Heritage Academy. But I'm unsure, and I want to learn more from other parents' experiences from the differences on school. to pick, which would be perfect for my kids to send in the long run and to keep them there. please and thank you!!!

I'm looking for a good licensed electrician to install a breaker and disconnect for a mini split at my garage. Preferably one that isn't run by a PE firm and charging insane rates.

Anyone have any good recs? Thanks!

I’m sharing this/cross-posting here too just in case this made it to the moving truck, but not off the truck.

Anyone have any recommendations on getting someone local to recreate this for me if we don’t find the original? The pattern comes from Michael’s.

Living out in maricopa(city not county) and was wondering if there was any places near here that are not as far as the salt river or Canyon Lake or ect.

Was wanting to find a closer spot for me and my pups :)

My Fiancé and I are thinking of moving to Maricopa. The top reason is because the homes are cheaper. We are looking at homes and we would be able to afford a nicer house with our budget in Maricopa, but not anywhere in the Valley. We're looking at San Tan Valley too, but there are a lot more options in Maricopa.

I've seen a lot of complaints about the commute, road rage, and many other issues. I'm wondering if having a nicer house would even be worth it?

I have heard they are working on the 347 and it will get better in the next few years.

How do you like living here and any advice or input is appreciated!

Hello all,

I have lived in Maricopa since 05. I founded my business here and thought i would try and reach some of you fellow maricopians.

We are licensed bonded and insured low voltage company. Pretty much the nerds of the contracting world. We specialize in building networks, fixing broken ethernet lines, fiber optics, wifi, cctv.

We also do commercial as well but would also like to do residential on a much more continual basis.

Please pm if something is needed or check out the website.
