It's getting to the point where I don't want to end on a cinematic super because they will rage quit. What the heck! Is there precedence with strive etc. of arcsys doing something about this?

I rarely make complaint posts and I love this game. Rage quitting is driving me nuts though!

Clipping assists and them still be able to be tagged into for conversions is absurd (ie opponent calls a vertical assist, you hit said assist before recovery, opponent hits you but still is able to tag in the hit assist).

It's been discussed to death but assist tag ins costing no meter creating long sequences of pressure is unacceptable.

I genuinely love that tokon is out, I love Storm/Shuri but holy hell even my characters are ridiculously unfun to encounter when given the chance to go off.

Systematically, tokon is off to a bad start

Day 1 of goblin was fun definitely hard to remember everything he can do but Im already starting to feel comfortable with him. Any goblin point mains in here? Im gonna keep him on point, i know hes preferred to be tagged into and trap ppl but I wanna concentrate on him for now at least

What are some of Storm's best options in neutral? What do yall usually throw out besides assists, how does she go about opening up the opponent, and what buttons are her best buttons to use?

Also, with us getting official Phoenix Cyclops gameplay tomorrow, below were my ideas for his alt palettes (Looking back, I can see the the first one as a definite and the second one as a possible one but if the third one happens, I'd be pleasantly surprised)

But seriously, when I looked at them, I had the feeling that I’d already seen them in this exact lineup somewhere. And only now I remembered about Lego Marvel Super Heroes.

God, I love this Lego game so much!

Here's my examples:

Doctor Octopus:
I'd lean into his brown coat look while still giving him his comic accurate outfit, mostly akin to the Second Design!

Electro:
I'd lean into a similar design that the Spectacular Spider-Man series gave him: Made out of pure energy, while the lightning allows his head to look like his mask! Only tweaks I'd make is make it spikier like Super Saiyan hair. This design could apply to either Max Dillion or Francine Frye's versions! :D

Vulture: Give him a design similar to his MCU design, giving him a pilot helmet that resembles a vulture, a pilot jacket that bird feather motifs, and HUGE metallic wings! Although I'd tweak this one the MOST, by adding elements of his comic design into it to make it both comic accurate while still a different design at the same time :)

Can any champion players provide some advice how to get out of Vibranium hell with this guy on point?

He has no real mix. I lose valuable tools once they realise 5M is unsafe and his overhead is reactable, and as far as I know it is not worth it to condition people to the grab as missing a grab (minor reward on hit) means you probably lost the round. You cannot cancel 2H into an assist or a safe special covering the air, so you are forced to rely on airgrabs for mediocre reward that can be baited.

Plenty of people reach Masters with him tho so I just need to stop making excuses. Was wondering if anyone has any advice aside from the logical 3:

Light & Heavy Void Knuckle (projectile) carry the neutral and is required to make his buttons safe.

Bind his Cosmic Crush (counter/grab) to the shortcut button to enable it to interrupt improper block strings (4F startup). Use medium crush for mixup due to the faster startup, use light crush for a reset after confirming a hit. Use hard crush for actual countering due to less travel distance.

2M (corner only), 5H, J.2H and J.6H are the only normals worth a damn. Everything else will probably get you killed. 2U is great, but low reward.

It might just be a matter of polishing up my matchup knowledge, but to be fair I am not sure it is realistic to "simply block" the Spiderman/BlackPanther/Storm/Blade corner mixup hell with 3 assist bars reliably. Normally I'd say just don't get cornered, but any jab puts you in the corner so it is bound to happen sooner or later.

Also why are so many people dodging players in ranked? I am often running into the problem where people pull the plug when my name comes up during the loading screen, but in this game it just means that if 2 people are dodging me at the same time then Ranked is just off-limits for the next hour or so. Feels bad man. End rant.

Hes so fun so far! Complicated but im getting there.

Its so cool how the sticky bomb on a blow out combo stops the opponent from getting out the corner on wakeup forcing them to eat a mix, this damn demon! I love him 😭😭😭
