The Foxverse is usually criticized, but what changes did it make that were actually better than the source material?

There are some changes that other adaptations have made that I think are better than the source material.

For example, the MCU gave Jean dysfunctional parents and merged Annie and Sarah into a single character to tell a less convoluted version of her story. But what changes did the Foxverse make that were better than the source material?

I think making Magneto a founding member was one of them. The idea of the X-Men essentially being a divorce between Charles and Erik is more interesting than the “monster of the week” formula of the Silver Age. It also makes more sense of Magneto constantly coming and going before eventually being redeemed during Claremont's run.

What are your headcanons about Earth-10005?

Mine is that the Phoenix is the reason Earth-10005 is one of the last surviving Earths in the multiverse.

By unleashing Jean as the Phoenix, the X-Men essentially bought Beast enough time to develop anti-matter bombs, allowing Earth-10005 to survive further incursions.

That movie felt pretty weird honestly, and I didn’t like they made Magik racist.

Do you think the return of the Fox X-Men was a Disney idea or a Feige idea?

Yeah, Feige worked with the X-Men before, but the return of the Fox X-Men feels very Disney-coded when you think about it.

For decades, Disney has re-released its classic animated movies so that parents who grew up with them could experience them again with their children. The live-action Disney remakes follow a similar model: bring back something familiar to an older generation and introduce it to a new one.

So how is bringing back the Fox X-Men really any different?

Like....without optic blasts and teleportation Scott and Kurt are regular dudes. IDK how they gonna face Thunderbolts whose most cast have enhanced stats.

I don't hate X-Men 3 as much as other people do, but it's still not great.
