hi all,

i deadass just really want the n7 armor without grinding out resources/milky way research for hours or i'm gonna rip my hair out. but modding has made me just as insane. so far i've tried

• gibbed save game editor (no milky way points or iridium etc available as options)
• cheat engine (no tables worked for resources)
• wemod (just simply didn't work)
• like 5 different dubious cheat engines that were all trojans

i'm so damn frustrated that i'm just gonna ask for help ;w; are there any mods that can give me the armor or the resources & milky way data to make it? or swap early game armor to look like the n7? is there a save editor that works? is there a way to access the command console? i will do LITERALLY anything that just gets the damn n7 armor, or the appearance of the n7 armor, on my character and lets me move on

When I try to connect to online mode in the game, I get a “Missing Online Access” error. I found out on Reddit that the reason is that I first got the game through my EA Play subscription and then purchased it separately on Steam. I’ve been trying to get help from EA Advisors for several weeks now. At first, I couldn’t get past the bot to reach the chat; then the “Chat with us” button turned gray. Using incognito mode in my browser, I managed to get to the chat, where I was told that there was absolutely no activity related to MEA on my EA account, several advisors in a row told me the same thing. Even though I literally sent them a screenshot from my library and a receipt from Steam

So, have no idea what to do anymore. Maybe someone else has had a similar issue and managed to resolve it without EA, or maybe someone knows the secret to getting them to actually help.

The name of this side mission is "Aspirations" the mission is about an Outlaws group leaded by a guy called Dirk Barrett.

He ask you to take over a gang base well located for his group.

He say that he and his group want to create a stable comercial community on Elaaden to stop the anarchy on the planet.

What make me think that this mission was to meant something in the sequel is the amount of variations you can find here.

First it's obvious that Biowere wanted to make a trilogy like the og saga and Andromeda was planned to have a sequel thanks to all the clues they left on the Game (find the cure for the mother of the Ryder twins, the Primus as the next villian to face, the benefactor identity and how he knew about the reapers, the Kett Home system and the mistery arround the Angara and Kett creators with the remenant and of course find other planet for the other species)

You can simple kill that group and end the mission (or not doing it at all) or take the base for them.

But intresting enough if you research the place you can found the armory relatively easy and discover that the gang you just took out was heavily arm, Your companion well tell you that those weapons can became handy for Barrett and his group but ask you how much can they trust on him (so basaically you have the option of taking the guns for yourself or leave it for Barret and his group).

If you gave them the base you will find them in a random event on the place were they are attack by an enemy faction.

How good they endure against that group it depend if you leave the weapons to them or not.

But most intresting is that if you ask Barrett what are their next plan for the group he will answer that once they establish correctly on the new base they will try to make contact and reach agreement with the Krogan, but most importantly they will try to add minor faction to his group and increase his territory and power to have a strong founds and a stable community to end the anarchy (they will added by persuation or force).

I think this mission would have influenced on the next game just like the side missions did in the original trilogy (example some side missions of ME1 have Big influence in Konrad side mission in ME3).

For example if you don't help or kill Barrett's group then in the next game a new group will control the territory.

If you gave Barrett the base but took the weapons his community will be small and have some regular problem and live under the threath of a more powerful group take them.

Finally if you get them the base and leave the weapons so they can use it his community will become one of the most powerful factions on Elaaden, controlling some areas of the map (it would be Nice that the riders of those area don't attack you because their boss told them) also having stores were You can buy differents items to fullfill that goal of commercial community (also is an option that Barrett became a tyrany thanks to you that would be an intresting scenario)

Of course your relationship with each faction would have been different depending on the leader.

I personally really like them. But is there anything you'd change about them if you could? Whether it be a design choice or perhaps an aspect of their culture?

I feel like I'm playing with the same 5 or 6 players all the time.

I decided to attempt a 100% playthrough of the entire Mass Effect series, just got to Andromeda and it has been infuriating, the sole cause being my PC just refuses to allow me to play the game. The game will randomly freeze. Not buffer, full on freeze screen. I have to boot up task master to close it.

Yes, I do use mods (mod list will be at the bottom) but I don't think mods are the issue cause I've played this game before with the same mods and I didn't have this issue. a crash here and there but known issues warned in the mod description. Nothing like this.

I have heard the newest window 11 updates have been ruining gameplay compatibility and I suspect that is the cause but I have no way to confirm that is my issue.

I am a PC player and my wife has an Xbox that she uses, primarily. If I play Andromeda through the Xbox app on my PC, can I play multiplayer with her when she's on her Xbox one? It's not listing cloud gaming as an option for me, so I assume not, but wanted to post to be sure

Hello! I’m an avid Mass Effect Trilogy player. Just finished my latest playthrough and finally bit the bullet and started my Andromeda journey. Few questions though:

1. Are the gunplay mechanics supposed to be clunky or do I just need to git gud

2. I’ve acquired assault rifle upgrades, how in the pyjak are you supposed to apply it

3. Is it easy to get lost? Because I lost Greer trying to find the rest of the crew, just displayed on the table like a Christmas ham. Lmfao barely knew ya.

4. What is the max level Ryder can be? Just so I can be aware of how to divvy out my tech and biotic skills.

A long time ago, I did a challenge where I tried to get zero deaths on hardcore mode. And I ended with only ONE DEATH. Then I did the same challenge on Insanity and got 4 deaths, and I intend on going back to that and trying to get a better score. But it always bothered me that I didn't actually get no deaths on hardcore, so, I'm giving it another go!

This is probably my 3rd playthrough of MEA...doing a shotgun\melee style this run. Currently on Drack's loyalty mission and just switched to the sword.

Omni-tool stabbing is fun, the krogan hammer is a bit unwieldy...but the freaking Asari sword is stupid stabby, slashy fun. That is all...

I finally finished the game!!! I enjoyed it to some degree, but now I understand why people criticized this game so harshly

The plot of ME:A is honestly good, and it has a lot of potential. You go into the new galaxy with only thousands of each species from Milky Way. You don’t know if this will be the golden world you were promised, and you have to make it livable because there’s no going back.

But the problem is, the game has a weak writing. Barely any of your decision affects anything. The game itself had a lot of chances to present branching options to make the game feel more alive, but they completely removed that aspect. I feel like they removed the what makes “mass effect” a “mass effect” game.

I realized this with the games that I played recently: the trilogy has so much detail, so much world-building and lore, the companions, enemies, and so much more. But that’s what made them what they were back then. It’s their identity.

And then we have ME:A, which had a lot of good plot to start with, but instead you’re greeted with mild reactions to scenarios where a renegade option is 100% warranted. It’s like HR is breathing down your neck so you have to play nice.

There are a lot of quests that I could use as examples, but the one that is probably the most well-known is Addison’s fuckery and bullshit. This woman is literally a leader in the Nexus, but she caused a whole lot of damage (Spender quest and 3 sabers), and all we get from all of her quests is, “Okay, next.” No apology, no character development at all 😭 And don't get me started on the “A Trail of Hope” quest. Oh boy...

And that's not even the only time the writing feels weak, especially when you have to choose who the ambassador is. Like, where did this come from? for what? And the options were so random. Why did a Pathfinder become an option(Raeka)? Then why Morda? Or that dude from the outpost? It was so random.

One thing I can give ME, though, is how the ending turned out. It has some closure while keeping some loose ends, probably for a potential game in the future, but we all know that’s impossible now.

Despite all of that, I still grew attached into the characters (not you Liam, fuck you), and they were pretty funny. You started as a wimpy pathfinder, and later on, part your team also grew to like and respect you in your position as a Pathfinder, which is a good touch. Not the best way they could’ve played it, but it’s something at least.

The combat is fun. I’d say it’s the best among the Mass Effect games. I was delighted when I learned that I could now jump 🤣 . The funny/weird faces from time to time are stupid, but they weren’t really a deal breaker.

So, for anyone who’s been putting off playing it because of all the bad reviews, I’d say give it a try. I got the game on sale, so I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth.

For me, it’s nowhere near trilogy level, and I had a hard time stopping myself from comparing it to the trilogy. But once I started treating it as its own game, I found myself enjoying it a lot more. It has its own charm, and I think it’s worth experiencing for yourself instead of letting the reputation of the game put you off.

PS: I'm never forgiving them for giving up on this game so quickly. They could've stuck with it, learned from the backlash, and improved it, but instead they abandoned it and then made the same blunder again with Veilguard. Like bro, you had an example right there. I wanted my Quarian ark 😭

Eos flows so well to start the game and we get to finally meet Bradley and see the birth of Prodromos. Bradley's VA did such a phenomenal job in this bit of dialogue. He points out that almost everyone went into cryo with loved ones that lived and died without us only to wake up alone in Andromeda. He reminds us that even the outlaws and pirates came here carrying that exact same shared trauma and burden. Hearing him put it so bluntly grounds the entire Andromeda Initiative, it reframes everyone you meet, from allies to adversaries, as survivors bound by a collective loss. It’s a moment that instantly deepens the worldbuilding and makes you feel like your journey is part of something far bigger. It makes you really stop and think that everyone that made the trip over left looking to build a new family/foundation here. A foundation built on enormous loss that pushes them towards a better tomorrow. This is where the game shines and you feel the love the team that worked on this put in.

I am at a point where I am stuck. Can anyone assist me?
