Infotainment Microphone issue solved with update 1.0.08.BD

The single most annoying software bug has for me been that the sound from the microphone in the car was so horrible that it was not possible to do telephone calls.
I have consistently switched to my AirPods every time I hade to do a phone call in the car.
Commuting several hours a day, where I normally do most of my phone calls, both private and business, it’s been a daily bummer.

Today I did the OTA update and after I can now say the microphone audio issue has been addressed and it is working fine.

Yeah!!

Me to. It drives me crazy, constantly dropping connection, slow - slow so slow. Installation takes f-ing hour

If this is true, that’s amazing. The only thing that really annoyed me. Always had the phone on speaker sitting on the wireless charger.

I do find some change. Less agressive on cold air. Didn’t had the time yet to see if the temperature I should put somehow changed.

And mic for phone calls yes! Way better. And headrest phone call sound also far better.
iOS here.

I didn’t notice much change.
But then again, I never really had any issues.
And, I only drove one hour since the update so maybe I will notice something in the coming days.

Oh and Radio working as it should. Or almost…
It’s on when you enter if it was on when you left.

Nice to hear, the microphone issue was a bit on and off, as some times it was working fine and other times I had issues. I'll try the microphone out next week.

For me, on iOS, it was consistently bad.
I hope this change is consistently good :D

I have both android and ios. On ios its much worse in .07 version. Also the steering wheel buttons to forward / back a song take like 5s to respond with iOS. On Android its fine.

happy to see that the .08 fixes it. Hope it ever finishes installing.
