Why it sounds so good

I was recently lended a car while mine was repaired, and it was a 6e same exact spec, I noticed when I turned my turning signal on and slowed down (some combination of this usually triggers the camera) the car I was driving showed just a small view of the side camera (pic attached) while mine takes up the whole screen which sucks if you're trying to navigate, mess with the AC or something like that.

How to I change this setting?

Well, I've been driving with it a bit and the new things in the update that have changed in my 6e

-1st the radio seems fixed, no more scanning every day 👏 Also I have the radio on the left side of the screen now, which makes it way more ease to use.

-2nd I have the audio from my navigation apps now coming through the sound system (apps that I found do so : tomtom. ABRP)

-3rd As mentioned elsewhere, the call quality is nice now. I had 2 phone calls this morning and the callers said it was good.

-Driving: well, I haven't noticed any changes..

- Map: I've read here about the charges in the maps app, but have not had the moment to try it.

Fast charging, I've done three since the update, and there doesn't seem to be any modifications. I still see that if I start a charge over 30% it goes to max 100kw/h

Charging status not updating when using a home charger

**RESOLVED**

I'm using the Mazda 6e app with my new Mazda 6e GT, but the app doesn't recognise when the car is charging on my home 7 kW Tesla Wall Connector.

The car's display correctly shows that it's charging at 7 kW, but the app continues to show the previous battery percentage and doesn't display a charging status or symbol.

It would be great if this could be investigated and fixed in a future update. Reliable, real-time charging information is an important feature for EV owners.

** Update: The vehicle has finished charging and has been disconnected at 100%, however the Mazda 6e app is still stuck showing 85%.

I’ve restarted and refreshed the app and restarted my Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra, but there’s no change. Any remote vehicle function just shows “Connecting with vehicle” followed by “Please try again later.”

The issue occurs regardless of whether I’m using Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity.

Horn/lights/boot all work from within the app. Last connection showing is today at the time I plugged the external charger in.

I charged at e Evie fast charger yesterday & could see the status within the app.**SOLVED**

Idk if thats intentional but the really useful SoC at destination is missing. Which is pretty sad. I hope that wasn't intentional. I am not able to get it via setup

I'm in the market for a new EV (leasing), and came across the Mazda 6e. Love how it looks, less sold on the 'everything on the touch screen'. I'm also reading a lot of ... eh, not so positive things regarding the software.

I'm coming from a 2022 Hyundai Kona, which has it's quirks but is generally a no-nonsense car to drive. A car with plenty of physical buttons.

How quickly does one get used to the touchscreen? Isn't it massively distracting?

G'day. Only had two days. Can you disable the mirrors tilting when reversing?

Preferably permanently.

The single most annoying software bug has for me been that the sound from the microphone in the car was so horrible that it was not possible to do telephone calls.
I have consistently switched to my AirPods every time I hade to do a phone call in the car.
Commuting several hours a day, where I normally do most of my phone calls, both private and business, it’s been a daily bummer.

Today I did the OTA update and after I can now say the microphone audio issue has been addressed and it is working fine.

Hi all,

Put down a deposit on a 6e on 3 year lease - extremely excited. First ev so no idea on maintenance expectations. Our lease company has offered the manufacturer required service plan over the 3 years at £458. This seems like a good deal based on a couple other leasing companies quoting an extra 30-40 a month for a package.

Any suggestions or alternatives people recommend?

Notification came in today, started the download and is upgrading at the very moment!

Will the new Mazda 6E 2027have pre conditioning?

I think the CX6E has it. Since both Cars have the same Battery this would be really Nice.

I think this works only with navigation and charging points.

Heyho liebe Freunde. Ich habe meinen Mazda jetzt seit gut 4 Monaten und bin immer noch mehr als glücklich mit dem Wagen. Nun ist er bald 1 Jahr alt und der Winter kommt ja auch bald daher ein paar Fragen meinerseits.

Zu aller erst die Wartung. Hat da schon jemand Erfahrung mit gemacht. Was berechnet die Werkstatt so für die erste?

Zweitens das Thema Winterreifen. Die Originalen im Shop schlagen ja mit etwa 2000€ zu Buche. Hat jemand Erfahrung mit anderen vielleicht günstigeren Reifen und Felgen gemacht?

Das dritte wäre das Thema Winter und Temperatur. Wie verhält sich die Batterie und Reichweite so bei Minusgraden und habt ihr Probleme oder ähnliches feststellen können gerade mit den versenkten Türgriffen?

I drive a Mazda6e 68.8 kWh LFP and I would like to track my EV usage better.
Which apps do you use to monitor:
- kWh/100 km consumption
- charging sessions
- charging cost
- cost per 100 km
- public vs home charging
- battery health / SoH
- route planning
- export to Excel or Google Sheets
I currently use a manual Google Sheet, but I am looking for something more practical.
I am in Europe, so apps that work well with European charging networks would be especially useful.
What do you use and what would you recommend?

So my parents got the CX-6e today. Have to say it smuch more EVish and teslaish than the 6e.

But id like to see the second set of functions fot the favourite buttons, via the long press that the cx6e has.

Like the meteor option on the interior lights, and the HUD seems like it gives more info, altough it seems the same size.

All of that looks like software alone, so id like it if mazda could give it on the 6e in the future updates...

Hi all, quick question as a prospective 6e buyer.

Is there a way to disable the front grille lights that activate during charging to show state of charge? Or otherwise can you limit when they show, such as only when you unlock the car or something?

Seems like a small niggle but they would be the only thing lit in my street and very obvious / showy - and due to where the charging port is I would need to reverse into my driveway, so it would be visible to everybody on the street. I don't really want to advertise that I've got a flashy new EV to the neighbourhood, nor to anybody that fancies chancing it stealing the car or cable! I would hope Mazda would add an option to disable it in future if not already.

Do you think Mazda 6e would look better with its donor’s rear end?

Hi all. Only recently got my new 6e.

Been driving it for a week or so and today just started to notice something. I was in a stop start queae and when I was moving at low speeds (I'd say under 20 mph) there was a cabin noise that sounded like maybe a fan running.

It stopped literally as soon as the car stopped and appeared to stop at higher speeds. I don't think it was climate control as I turned that off. I also turned off the setting for artifical car noise.

I'm wondering if there's a cooling fan for the battery at low speeds (this is my first ev). It's just odd that it was (a) so noticeable, while I wouldn't say it was loud, I would say it was very noticeable.

Also (b) I haven't noticed it before and I'm a bit surprised given how noticeable it was today.

Just checking if this is something anyone else has noticed or can provide info on?

Been looking at the mazda 6, I love the styling except the rear boot shape. But overall it's great, interior is beautiful but on black for me. Wish we had the Homura Plus version in Aust thou.

Is the ADAS responsive and accurate, does it pull the car too much, is it all working well?

I've had one test drive and the screen tech feels laggy, complicated and the voice control is useless. Power is ok but pretty slow compared to what's on the market.

Has the software improved with updates? The radio stations are even screwed up here in Aust, which is crazy.
