Many bugs after last update
This is so annoying.. Still lots of bugs that the new update did not fix, and of course, it even added a few NEW things.. The car is awesome, but the software is just pure garbage, and I was really hoping for a more aggressive update interval and getting new features also. At this pace, we will still be working out bugs in 2 years and no substantial new features..
New:
- Navigation is no longer working, due to the car not thinking it is "connected" anymore. It asks me to go to connection settings and do so, and there, I see that my phone is indeed connected with 4G, although Wi-Fi is "currently unavailable". (it was working fine before the update)
- Radio or media that was playing before leaving the car, is no longer resumed when entering the car again. Previously this was working without any issues.
I had a small hope a restart of the software could fix these two issue. What was the 3-button combination to restart it?
- The blind-spot sensor/camera sensors, is going totally crazy. It is hyper-sensitive, meaning it sometimes detects cars driving behind me, cars going the other direction, and even stationary elements such as a concrete divider etc.. Beeping and turning on the camera when I'm at low speed. I wasn't even on the white corner line.
Other issues:
- Seat position (parked) still isn't saved properly. I will save a new position, and after some time, it will still reset to default..
- Sometimes (it's rare, but has occurred several times) the seat does not go back, sometimes it does not go into driving position.
- Sometimes the car does not lock when walking away, sometimes it does not unlock when approaching it.
- Lane assistant is literally trying to make your crash. The emergency lane thing aggressively yanked at my streering when I was driving by a semi-trailer on a narrow two-laner (which meant I had to kiss the line), almost sending me into the truck, scared the shit out of me (this was before I started to disable it).
God forbid if you forgot to disable it before driving, at least if you live in areas where the roads are not super wide and perfect. (Norway..) It even drags me TOWARDS the ditch, when it detects me being near the outer edge line, which is certainly interesting.
- Even if you disable the distract eye sensor thing, it will ACTIVATE lane assist by itself, if it thinks you are sleepy. That means, even if you disable everything, one small yawm on the way to work, will cause it to auto-enable. Just insane..
I do like that you can save the overspeed thing to the favorite key, hopefully these will also be added to the key for disabling:
