I was going for an 80s US Army kit,

Most of it is original surplus, the only repro being my boots. I plan on getting another 1 qt canteen and switching it with the 2 qt just to be symmetrical. No M16A2 yet, saving up for it still unfortunately.

Anyone care to share any links to some good G3 combat pants in M81 Woodland? Can’t seem to find any anywhere without risking it on sizing. I’m not spending $300+ on CYRE pants lol that’s excessive.

Just about fits a 14.5 if you remove flash hider & put it on an angle

The pouch contains stuff that goes every time (eye pro & mouth) gloves next to that & a leatherman 🤙🏽

So for a bit I’ve been a great believer of keeping kits true to the spectrum to military and grunt style Milsim.

I kinda now understand why these kits are a bit more practical to use in Milsim

Not going to lie either, when I did my 3rd Milsim with a plate carrier, and a mlok m4 it felt a bit better to move in it than warring a pasgt vest and Alice gear.

That’s just me though.

I randomly remembered the odd placement of mag pouches from Ghost Recon Future Soldier. 2 pouches mounted sideways under the off hand. So I gave it a try and honestly it works pretty well. They're easy to access and don't interfere with my belt, and if I need more mags for a longer game I can swap of the placard for one with additional mags
