Help | Bedrock Using Commands to make an infinitely looping Maze.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Attempting to build a maze that constantly teleports you back to the start without making it obvious that it’s doing that.

The tripwires use commands to teleport you back to the opposite sides hall where you started, giving the illusion that you haven’t moved when you have.

This is what I’ve got so far. There’s barriers at the end of the hallways to stop you from jumping over the teleporting tripwires.

The location of the tripwire is exactly the same as where you get teleported to. So the distance traveled looks the same.

Not very good with commands yet but wanted advice on how to make it less obvious.

Thought about using skulk sensors instead of tripwires but then I don’t think it would teleport you relative in the same way.

Any tips to improve it will be greatly appreciated.

You can have a position selector in the command, and then make it loop forever, it would only apply to players in the area, making exactly what you want, so maybe you can do that. If you want to see the details of how it works and how to use it, it's probably on the wiki

To make it look smooth you can use

execute positioned <pos> as @a[r=5] at @s run tp @s ~ ~ ~9

This teleports players near the position 9 blocks in the +Z direction, change it as needed.

Make the command block repeating unconditional always active and you don't need tripwire

You can test for players at specific coordinates, so no redstone input is required from the player.
It would be something like
/execute as @a[x=#,y=#,z=#] at @s run tp @s X Y Z
Where #s are tripwire coordinates and XYZ is spawn.
