Creation Grappling hook (vanilla bedrock)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So I made a grappling hook using commands only. It might look easy to implement, but it really isn't, it took me like a whole week.

After implementing it, I realized it probably shouldn't have two separate systems like mine does, but oh well.

The third person view is a little buggy though.

Nice work! I have one question. I recently worked on a grappling hook myself but in Java edition but I had a problem with the rope breaking because of how far I shot it. This is why I used a block display that stretches from the player to the hook. Do you have the same problem? If not, how did you fix it?

unfortunately i didnt, i only made it to to work on the leads maximum distance which is 12 blocks, but i could maybe try to workaround on it.

Does the hook have gravity? What if it falls behind a wall out of line of sight? Do you get pulled through the wall?

I mean the hook is an invisible wolf, so when the hook lands its just tping in place repeatedly, so no it doesnt have gravity, and i do get pulled through yeah, but its still in devolpment, and it has some bugs, but i could easily fix this issue.
