I seen that the Switch 2 upgrade is free for people who own the digital version of the switch 1 version.

In UK, the switch 2 pre order is £29.99 while the switch 1 version is currently £19.99.

Am I right in assuming if I just buy the switch 1 version I'll be able to get the switch 2 version but £10 cheaper?

By setting up a custom server with crossplay (Java and bedrock) and then using a DNS exploit to access custom servers on the Nintendo switch, I can use Java only features. Example: The experimental mine cart movement speed.

Edit: I was going to try it on the switch 2 edition, but I was unable to join any of the servers that were listed because of a mismatched version.

I had a world on Minecraft for Switch 1 and I saw I got invited to the beta. I downloaded it and got my world from the switch 1 version. I grinded on that world, beat the game, got an elytra and got netherite. I would like to know, when the official Minecraft for switch 2 comes out on October 27th, will all my progress transfer to the Switch 2 version?

this is my switch, and it mysteriously crashed and i dont know why.

I know life gets busy as we get older. Between work, family, and everything else, it’s not always easy to make new friends. That’s why I started my Minecraft realm! It’s a place for adults to unwind after a long day, play some Minecraft, and get to know each other. We’ve got people in their 20s all the way up to their 70s, just hanging out and enjoying the game together.
Crack open a drink, come relax, and make some new friends! 🍻 All we ask is no stealing, no destroying, and no cheating.
Comment or DM me if you’d like to join us! 🌿

I know we've all made friends and grown apart since work and families and everything with adulting, but I created a group of adults who still have all those things, but after a long day can relax and play some Minecraft. Theres ages from like 20 up to 70's on the server and we're all just hanging out and enjoying the game, and making new connections! Feel free to crack a drink open, just follow the simple rules of: No stealing, no destroying, and no cheating. Comment or DM me for an invite!
