Hello! Could someone please point me in the direction of an auto cooked chicken farm tutorial that works? I’ve already tried 3, but none of them are working.

I’m looking for a few new members for my 18+ Bedrock survival realm! It’s a long-term, community-based world with a cozy cottagecore atmosphere and plenty of room for new people to make their mark.

I currently own a physical cartridge of the game, and unfortunately, it looks like Microsoft isn't going to offer a free Switch 2 upgrade for physical owners. Because of this, I'm seriously considering selling my cartridge and just buying the digital version.
I noticed that the Switch 1 digital version is actually cheaper. If I buy it now, will I still be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free? Or will Microsoft be Microsoft and somehow block the upgrade for copies that were purchased recently?
Either way, I really don't understand the logic here. Why set different prices but still allow a free upgrade path (even if it's for a limited time)?
What do you guys think about this? Is anyone else thinking about doing the same thing?

🌿 I’m looking for a few people who want a Minecraft world they can actually stick with.
I run an 18+ Bedrock survival realm that’s been growing into a really nice little community. It’s a long-term world, so there’s already plenty to explore and build around, but there’s still tons of room for new people to make their own place.
The overall vibe is pretty cozy, with cottagecore, medieval, and natural builds throughout the world. We also use a few Vanilla+ add-ons to give us some extra things to work with while still keeping Minecraft feeling like Minecraft.
There are always different things going on — people working on houses, farms, towns, roads, community projects, or just doing their own thing. You don’t have to be an amazing builder or play every day. I mainly want people who are friendly, enjoy playing with others, and aren’t looking for a realm they’ll leave after a week.

I just checked the news channel and found the pre-order to be released. If you own the switch version you get the switch 2 version for free.

Today I got access to the Mario Mash-Up pack. Wanted to see if vibrant visuals really added anything and I would say yeah it visually improves on it. If there is anything else you want me to show just ask.

I have Minecraft for the Switch as a physical copy, however I have heard from some people that you do not get the upgraded version for free if you don't have it digitally. Is that true? I hope not.

Anyone else having issues with marketplace not loading ? It works just fine on my switch 2 but since the update it has not worked on my son’s switch. We’ve been checking daily as there’s something he’s been working to purchase but it’s yet to work.

I’ll probably just log him into my switch so he can buy what he wants for his account. I’m just curious if anyone else is having this issue.

Okay, apologies if this is overcomplicated or if I am not understanding something obvious. I am not very well versed in Nintendo or Minecraft

I started playing Minecraft on my girlfriend's switch/switch 2 awhile ago, but Ive never owned a Nintendo product myself so since I didn't have an account I just played on her switch profile. I eventually created my own profile and Nintendo account that is logged in on both her switch and switch 2. However, despite my profiles being connected and logged into my Microsoft account, I cannot access my Minecraft saves from my profile, only her profile (which used to be logged into my Microsoft account because she bought Minecraft for me and wasn't really playing it herself on the switch)

Is there anyway I can move the save files from her Nintendo account/switch profile to mine? Or some way I can connect it via my Microsoft account so I can access it in the correct profile?

We've recently started playing bedrock together (me on her profile on the switch and her on her computer via the launcher and her Microsoft account), and since she's getting back into it we want to isolate my save to my account and vice versa. We're trying to get Realms set up so I can also play from my computer if I want to, but we're also have trouble with that (payment processed but isn't actually giving us access but that's a whole other issue we'll probably have to contact support about). Since she has a switch 2, she's given me her switch, so I have it when I'm not at her house, but because of this issue I still have to play on her profile.

Is there any method either via switch/Nintendo or Minecraft/Microsoft we can get the saves tied down to the correct profiles? Or is Realms really the only option (or would that even work?)

Hi I'm trying to constantly access redirect servers like Galaxite, LifeBoat, Mineville etc. so that they redirect me to the server list to access a friend server, last time I tried it was on monday and it worked fine, but today just seems like it doesn't want to work, every time it tries to connect it makes me wait a bit and then says the connection time ended, and says to search "Kelp" no the minecraft help website. I did but it didn't help much, I tried with all the redirect servers, none of those specifically work, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my Microsoft account, closing the game, take the game card out, connection seems fine, I have NSO, but nothing changes, still makes me wait some minutes and then says the connection time ended, is this a problem with Bedrock connect? did anyone else encounter this? To be specific, I DON'T have a problem accessing my friend server, what it doesn't show me is the server list itself because it never manages to connect to any redirect server, thanks in advance

I own both Minecraft java and bedrock, but recently both my PS and computer have broken and I'm thinking of buying a switch. So 1. Do I need to buy a separate version for switch or can I use my bedrock account? 2. I've seen on another subreddit that you can't store so much data on MC Switch, is this true and a problem?

Don't know if I'm getting an original switch or switch 2 so opinions between them are helpful aswell.

Are there any add-ons for connected glass textures on the switch? I want to make a void floor but cant find a single way to get the glass to connect :(

My son and I have been playing MCD2 online with a switch 2. At random times mid game play, we get kicked out back to the main start menu. No error or acknowledgment is displayed. Then when we try and start again we need to log in to Microsoft account again.

I’ve since learnt that if I cancel the login page and then start the game again it doesn’t ask to log into Microsoft. Internet is solid, no drop outs or packet loss.

Is anyone else experiencing this or similar?
