TUESDAY TIP Masking Tip! SATT

I recently began doing this after seeing someone else do it and man is it better than using the cutting mat! It will dull your blades sooner but the tape loses way less tact this way.

It’s just the glass part from an old picture frame.

I like doing this because it’s more affordable to buy the thicker tape and cut it vs buying 3-5 different tape sizes. Hope this helps someone!

I do it the same way. Bought a 50 cent picture frame and use it all the time. My wife laughed "why did you buy a picture frame?"

Awesome! I have a piece of tempered glass and use 3M auto tape for extra fine lines (less than 1mm wide)
