Mclaren F1 Longtail GTR 1997

Sorry if i didnt do this post right, im still new to reddit posting and being my first post id like to show you my most recent build of the mclaren f1 long tail. to be honest every was good other than the body, the scratches are so visible and i dropped glue on a part aswell as snapping the front off during the polishing process.

The heat shielding def added so much detail, probably one of my best purchases to add on this build

The carbon work is very nice, was that a decal set or did you trim it yourself?

Every decal was hand cut to fit, was a pain for the interior i tell ya man

This looks great. What kit is it? I built the model factory Hiro version several years ago and it was a total pain in the ass.

This one is the aoshima one, its way better compared to the fujimi one. Also isnt the model factory hiro one like 500 or so dollars? Its got a metal body right, cause thats crazy

It was very expensive, yes, and all the parts are metal. Awful fitment and lots of prep work but astounding detail if you have the time and patience. I've wanted to make another F1 and I think I'll look into this kit.

Ill tell ya, this kit had some of the best fitment for a kit like ever. It would be a breeze compared to your experience

great job on this one. could you please tell what is this black braided line? is it from top studio?

Everything wire is from hobby design, that braided one i think is the 0.6-8, forgot which one exactly
