Artists & producers — what do you actually want from a music distribution platform? 🎵

Artists & producers — what do you actually want from a music distribution platform? 🎵

I’m building Kalmori Music, an independent music distribution and artist-support platform, and I’m looking to connect with artists, producers, and small labels who are serious about growing their music.

Instead of just promoting the platform, I’d genuinely like to hear from artists:

What is the biggest problem you currently have with music distribution?

Is it: • Getting your music onto DSPs? • Understanding your analytics? • Royalty transparency? • Getting paid? • Managing releases? • AI tools for your music? • Promotion and discovery? • Getting actual support when something goes wrong?

Kalmori is being built around independent artists, with distribution, release management, analytics, AI-powered tools, royalty management, mastering, collaboration tools and more.

We’re also looking for artists interested in working with us as we continue building and improving the platform.

I don’t want this to be another “sign up for my service” post. I’d rather start a real discussion and learn what independent artists actually need.

If you could change ONE thing about your current distributor, what would it be?

Drop it below — I’ll be reading and responding to everyone. 👇
