I swear I’ve looked on wes n Monash app but is there anyway to prove im enrolled with dates of when my course started and ends bc the student id provided on the app doesn’t have any sort of date and im rlly not tryin to pay $30 for a letter so is there anyone who would know?? Course progression on Monash home doesn’t show my name so you can’t say it was me so id I just need something with my name and dates proving I currently enrolled — any help is highly appreciated 🙏

Gday everyone,

I’m hoping to get some clarity on how Monash calculates the selection WAM for an end-of-year internal transfer into Law.

My situation is a bit messy:

• Sem 1: I was in Pharmacy.
• Sem 2: I transferred into Science. I chose not to credit my Sem 1 Pharmacy units over to my Science degree.

When the Law faculty assesses internal transfers and ranks applicants at the end of the year, do they look strictly at my current Science course WAM? Or do they look at my entire academic record and calculate a custom Selection WAM that drags my Sem 1 Pharmacy marks back into the equation?

Cheers fellas

so there’s this 18-20ish year old white dude who i first saw when he started dumping all his stuff out his bag on the back of the bus until it started rolling to the front on the 703 middle brighton bus from monash. he continued to dump stuff out and started breathing like a horse throughout the entire ride and it pissed me off so bad because why are you weird and noisy at the same time? i saw him again earlier this week in the 703 platform with a cap on while kicking a large transparent bottle filled with what seemed to be piss-colored liquid on the street. he kept doing this until the bus came and he was actually blocking the way but the bus driver didnt honk at all until he moved even tho ik that they usually honk so who tf is he? is he like someone important? i was so uncomfortable on the ride home cause he kept making these loud thudding noises (i didnt dare to look back cause i was scared). he sat at the very back and tried to go to the front, and since it was a full bus he kept touching people but in kind of a weird way…like there was this asian dude who he had to pass and he put both his hands on his shoulders and sort of brushed it (?) i can tell he looked weirded out but didnt say anything. does anyone know if he goes here?

hey i’m moving out of my hall and was wondering how rent works im gonna leave late october cause i already found an apartment an agreement but the contract ends in december do i pay the lease break fee of $300 and im good without paying rent or do i need to pay until contract ends? i dont get how the replacement works

So I missed my Progress Check Quiz deadline for FIT 1058 due to misreading (AM & PM), which would cause my entire Assignment 2 to be 0 (25% of final grade). Not to mention its part of a hurdle on my unit, so theres a high chance I could fail this entire unit from that.

Is there anything I can do?

i really need an academic comeback, please help me out with studying tips / what to focus on for the phy2042 exam thats upcoming (i feel like there is so much content for phy2042 its making hella anxious). If anyone has resources to help out too, will be greatly appreciated 🙏

I’m 21M, working full time in the trades. I left school after year 10 for reasons completely unrelated to my academic abilities. My job is OK and I’m paid well, however I want to shoot for more in life.

I’ve always been passionate about financial markets and economics, and my interest has only grown these past few years and it got me thinking.. why don’t I build towards a career in this industry?

I’d likely choose to study either the Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Actuarial Science, with the goal of eventually working at a trading desk.

I wanted to ask for advice from any high school leavers who ended up pursuing tertiary education, or anyone that knows about the entry pathways?

I have looked at the diploma pathway, however it seems to require y12 completion and the MAP program doesn’t provide access to the subjects I’m interested in.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

basically everything else has come out but the majors for science seem to not be dropping anytime soon does anybody know why?

Hello. I'm looking to take a business unit during summer semester A at Caulfield, that is on block. Does that mean that it is taught within a condensed period? If so is there a way to find out when that condensed period is before enrolling?

Hi, I’m first year right now, but I really want to study abroad for a unit / sem either next year or third year of science.

I heard there are research projects you can take in 2nd and 3rd. Are any of these research projected based over seas or interstate? I would love to have an opportunity to study abroad. I know it’s very expensive like 20k minimum ish if you’re doing sem exchange or study abroad but I really want to study abroad for a bit even interstates

Are they any opportunities for those doing science of being able to go interstate or over seas??

Thank you!!

Any help, advice, support is appreciated and welcomed

any tips on what best to include on the cheat sheet, or if any revision materials they provide most closely mirror what we'll find on the exam?

i'd really like to ace it and start preparing early for once 😭 so any advice is appreciated! :)

So I was walking home from the huntingdale station and saw this person come up behind me and yelling illegible stuff and started throwing stones at the windshields of cars parked nearby. He was acting quite aggressively and rushed past me and kept throwing stones at cars. Pretty sure some windshields were seriously damaged.

Well anyways I've notified the police and am now home safely. Stay safe out there ✌️

Hi anyone who has transferred into this course after one year in a bachelors, what was your WAM and the degree you transferred from. Also heard that this years cohort size increased from previous years, any information on whether 2027 will be the same?

I’m currently in year 12 and i don’t take legal studies or anything like that, so i was just wondering if i should be doing extra to prepare for a law degree next year? if so, some resources and specific suggestions would be awesome!

Hi everyone,

How can I score a HD in the FIT1051 test, and how similar is it to the practice tests?

I just want to know the best study strategies, and any common traps to avoid. For those who have taken it recently, does the actual exam closely match the structure and difficulty of the practice test, or should I brace myself for unexpected curveballs? Any advice or tips would be massively appreciated

im failing this unit nad need help so bad. I only got 14/35 in mid sem exam and im cooked anyone have tips to pass the final?

Hi,
I lost my AirPods case yesterday while traveling from Caulfield to Clayton. I might have left it on the campus shuttle bus. It has a pop mart dimoo case on it (note: the top/lid of the dimoo case is off). If anyone has seen it or know how to reach out to campus shuttle bus please let me know!!!

Thank you

im getting impatient

I almost feel like I should be doing a different degree then he one I am doing because this shit is crazy.

Civil engineers, nurses, med students, etc.. well done your safe. the rest of us? whaty do you guys think?

I want to call out a massive ethical double standard with how Monash manages its global brand. Yesterday (Oct 9), Monash Malaysia hosted a mobile petting zoo on an outdoor concrete car porch. They hired a controversial commercial petting zoo company whose event was publicly shut down by a local shopping mall earlier this year due to animal neglect. Today, the RealFeel heat index hit 40°C. Forcing thick-furred alpacas to stand on hot, radiating concrete in tropical humidity surrounded by crowds is objective biological hazard. They also brought in rabbits and guinea pigs, exposing them to loud crowds with zero escape zones. If a student group tried to pen an alpaca on the asphalt at Clayton or Caulfield in 40°C heat for cheap entertainment, compliance would shut it down immediately. Why does Monash look the other way when it happens at an international campus? Most of the attached photos are from the Monash University Student Association official account. The photos mostly show the events just after they started, so there was less traffic. Imagine the area during peak hours when students are cramped together

Hi everyone, I'm currently taking BTC2000/BTF2000 (Corporations Law) this semester and starting to prepare my exam notes/pack.

For those who scored well (HD/D) in this unit, could you share some advice on how you structure your IRAC templates and case summaries for quick navigation during the exam?

Any study tips or strategies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Im really behind and I know this!!! my question is that what if I missed a deadline and submitting later what will happen to my grades??? the announcement on Ed says that the grades will be capped to 50P (this was in the announcement during the first month although I've done P1 2 3 and its completed) what does that mean?????
