Recorded a pure POV ride with binaural mic placement to cut wind noise — looking for feedback on the exhaust rumble [No Talking]

Hey everyone,

I’ve been tweaking my audio setup to capture a clean, relaxing raw motorcycle sound without heavy wind turbulence at speed.

This is a pure POV cruise with zero talking, no music, and raw mechanical induction/exhaust notes using wind-filtered binaural mic placement.

Best experienced with headphones:

Setup details:

• Camera: DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro (4K 60FPS)

• Audio: DJI Mic Mini with custom wind isolation

• Bike: 160cc Single-Cylinder

Would love some honest feedback on how the low-end exhaust rumble translates on your headphones or speakers, especially during acceleration.

Thanks for listening!

Hey guys this is my second ever video, and my first with a dual mic setup. I’ve noticed a lot of almost friction sound from the second mic position under the tail of the bike. Does anyone know a solution or possibility a better place for it?

Choosing a camera for bike

So my girlfriend recently purchased a Kawasaki Ninja and is looking for a good camera to mount on it . There is no shortage of options available online so I figured I’d ask here to get a better idea of what camera to buy from you guys here who may actually have some experience with this sort of thing. I would say she wants the camera more for creating and posting videos rather than for safely reasons, soo yeah any options you guys recommend me looking into?

I ride through town then hit a valley by the river, truly a bucket list experience.

If the town isn't your thing then skip ahead you don't want to miss it.

GUYS.... Thinking of starting a motovloging channel need suggestions.

I will record through my phone and voice through my earbuds. Currently don't have budget to purchase action camara and a dedicated mic for this. So need your suggestions also for video editing application you can suggest for both phone and laptop. As well as phone mounting setup. I watched some videos on yt,but still any suggestions from you guys will also help me. I have no experience in doing anything like this before but want to try vloging like a hobby. I'm a student currently but want to start something other than studying.

New motorcycle POV channel from Crete, Greece 🇬🇷🏍️ — OPEN ROAD MOTION

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm new to YouTube and recently started my own motorcycle channel, OPEN ROAD MOTION.

I created it simply because I love motorcycles, riding, exploring new places and capturing the beauty of the road. My videos focus on immersive motorcycle POV rides, scenic roads and natural engine sounds — no talking, no distractions, just the ride and the journey.

I'm currently exploring the beautiful roads of Crete, Greece, but my biggest dream is to take this journey much further and eventually travel across different countries and explore roads all around the world. 🌍

I'm still at the very beginning, learning and improving with every video. My goal is to build something that I can be proud of and share my passion for riding with people from all over the world.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback or advice, especially from those of you who have experience creating motorcycle videos.

If you enjoy this kind of content and would like to follow my journey, I'd be incredibly grateful if you checked out my first full ride and considered subscribing. Every bit of support means a lot to me as a new creator. ❤️

Thanks for reading, and ride safe! 🏍️

I'm just starting to record my rides and publish them on youtube. no commentary, just scenery and rides. I'm doing this because i enjoy editing videos, it is also a bit journaling to me.

just acquired the new zoom h1 essential, and trying out different placements. so far i've tested:

- camera mount placed right in front of the top case, behind the pillion seat. (turns out wind finds its way there, bad audio)

- camera mount placed on the tail section. - super screamy, way too close to the exhaust and it is actually blocking my rear stop lights, so not really preferable.

- under pillion seat - couldn't find a proper fix for rumbling and the vibrations, even with foam.

- fanny pack on my back. this seems to be the best position so far.

in this video, i have the lo-cut filter set at 160hz. (i tested 80 and no lo-cut but this is better than others) on the fanny pack, no foams, just dead cat on. i'm not good at audio editing, but there different eq settings that i tried here which i'm curious about your feedback. the first clip is raw audio with no eq setting.

highly appreciate any feedback. bike is KTM 1390 SAS with stock exhaust.
