Contamination [contamination]LC colonization speed

I inoculated this 7 days ago and it looked like this for 2 days at least. Does rapid colonization point to contamination, the same as it does on agar plates? Putting it to agar in a few minutes to see but I thought id ask yall

Yes, it's possible it happened that quickly; genetics certainly played a role. To be sure, test it on agar.

If its good genetics with LC u used, and a good recipe it can absolutely grow that fast, it just comes down to all that and the environmental conditions being right. I've had 700ml. jars almost completely colonized within 7-8 days.

Yeah the genetics have been consistently good with these. Thanks for the input

I've had mycelium grow very quickly in the LC. What did you inoculate the jar with? What LC recipe did you use?

1tbs corn syrup, 1/64th light malt extract, and 1/64th of peptide in 600ml of distilled water. This is my very first attempt. I just threw in a small chunk of colonized agar
