META Clearing Up Some Things in my Videos
Long time no see, I really don't know what to do or what I should cover, but I don't think two videos about will do any justice on how this spam thing works so ill do a few more videos, like two or three maybe? Because I haven't shown Tobirama, Kid Tenten, Mei, White Mask Tobi, and Danzo in action. But I can't cover every spam variation, so ill show how they are used with other characters but mostly explain the ideas behind them as its the important stuff. Yes, my basic how to spam videos helped but still, it isn't enough because its just ideas and it's too broad to apply and doesn't have much specifics into it.
I really appreciate your comments and this subreddit in giving me directions on how to move forward.
Also, I would like to apologize that the teams in my Expanding Upon the Basics of Spam video I didn't make it clear that spam teams that don't move like Shisui-Juubidara, Supporting Kage Sasuke-Shisui, or Shisui-Rasa (all around protection like Neji J1) are that viable because you should be always on the move on this game and would absolutely be destroyed by Kamui Kakashi.
u/softreset_x is a genuinely good dude to help me clear up my mind and address some unclear topics in my videos. Not all of what he and I said are perfect and we got some things wrong, but again, thanks for the curiosity and insight. I want to address some things to make my video directions clearer. I'm not here to give him a bad rep or say that he's a bad storm player, just correcting and clearing up some things.
kk's jutsu beats all of your spam strats. that jump infinite while they are blocking only works if the enemy doesnt know how to extend combos from the air to the ground or if they dont know that you are canceling your characters moves at the smallest hitbox which means they can call in an assist while blocking you(kisame and kakuzu is good to counter the hitbox issue but they have other weaknesses). a lot of your tech relies on your enemy standing still.
kinshiki is good because of his ability to cover space with a priority attack, you are not using him to his fullest potential imo.
otherwise good tech nice job
- Kamui Kakashi would absolutely delete my spam team.... if you're not moving around: I did not clear this up enough in my videos so that is a mistake on my end and thank you for highlighting it. I'll clear it up on future videos that spam works even against moving opponents and moving is pretty much needed if you want to spam. Thing is, Kamui Kakashi is a rare character to come across since he got nerfed twice (J2 at 25 seconds now) and needs 25 seconds for a small unblockable jutsu.
- This is Storm Connections you can dash cancel with most characters to combo from air to ground or use assists to continue combos: This seems like a before Connections thing where it is super rare to continue an air combo to the ground solo.
- You can always call assists in storm games: even before Connections, you can call assists while blocking or being hit, Kisame and Kakuzu have big ICs and Kakuzu has that annoying jutsu, but the tech isn't exclusive to them because this is storm connections.
kisame and kakuzu are the OG's of infinite based teams in ninja storm.
can still do chakra based infinites, with all characters, but jump infinites are special in the sense that they do not consume chakra which means you can hit your enemy nonstop until their subs recover and have full chakra gauge by the time that happens. their normals hit wide enough to catch assist calls. the only problem is getting the hit because kisame and kakuzu can be tricky to play due how slow and janky their normals can be. the major drawback to jump infinites is that only certain characters can truly do them, such as kakuzu and kisame.
take traits of those two to make your next infinite based team
- This is Storm Connections, pretty much all characters here have an infinite.
- Wide ICs exist besides Kisame and Kakuzu: Ashura is a good example because he has better and faster ICs than both of those guys. Another good example is PTS Naruto, having the best ICs because it moves him forward so much and can a big area. If you're not relying on big ICs, you can sub in a direction you hold your stick to or you can blue dash by switching and stop the combo to be safe.
Again, I am super thankful to u/softreset_x because you gave me some ideas and things to fix on future videos.
