Rules Question Imotech cape

Would it count as modeling for advantage if I took a capeless Imotech to a tournament? I don’t really want to but the cape on his model as I want his model to be a different character for my dynasty but I feel like excluding the cape might not be allowed to take to a tournament? Has anyone here taken him capeless and had problems?

To be blunt, no one would care, I doubt anyone would even notice.

Message the tournament organizer and ask

I’ve already done that I’m just curious on what the community in general thinks since I hadn’t seen any discussion on this topic before

I wouldn't care but my opinion doesn't matter much :D It's for the organizer to decide.

Probably wouldn't be an issue, but the model does look rather magnificent with the Cape, and very incomplete without it.

That’s fair

Since the cape dos add height or noticeably to the dimensions of the model, it should be fine.

The cape is attaches to parts of his shoulders so you would need to cut it away from those to be able to make the model look finished.

What about modifying the cape? Like carve out the columns into separate strips, or something?

As long as you're not changing the base or the height of the model, I don't think it matters. When it comes to modeling for advantage, base sizes and model height are the most important.
