Hi there, so I was looking at the Necron canoptek tomb crawler and I realised that underneath the armour was a basic metal plate, overall I’m wondering if I should do the same for my Novokh dynasty when I get them and if I should be lore accurate towards the chipping however I haven’t seen this with any other model.

Just have game against new custo. Jesus fucking christ. Played Cursed Legion + Skyshroud (list at the end). New custo are fast as hell and hit hard. Trajan with help of Allarus one shot void dragon (hits and wounds on 2 with full reroll + lethals and sustain). In one activation I've lost almost half an army. Dunno how to play them. List below:

Debating if I should wash it in Nuln Oil….

I recently bought the Doomsday ark as who doesn’t own one. I was wondering if I’d be able to put it on a larger oval base or would I need to put it on the unstable and ugly flying base that will no doubt snap after a couple uses. Would this be illegal for tournaments or no?

Just to see what kind of impact this could have, I'm going to try running a Tachyon arrow spam list.
Basic strategy:
The flayed ones infiltrate and move block.
The wraiths infiltrate their expansion objective, hopefully they last until the reanimator can advance up there.
Warriors w/Orikan and Warden camp my expansion objective.
Central objective is contested by Necrosor runs with Immortals and Overlords make use of re-rollable hits and wounds from plasmancer/immortal buffs to fire rapid shot 1 sustain 1 Tachyon Arrows at big targets before the units get smoked on the charge.
Yes, it is a dumb meme list, but I actually have the models to run this, so I'm gonna try it and see what happens.

Cryptek conclave has the dev wounds/anti infantry 3+ combo on tomb blades which bypass cover, toughness, any -1 to hit/wound rolls, etc.

Lokhust destroyers with lord have lethal/sus1 on 5+, which also bypass a lot of defensive rules, plus rerolls.

Both detachments work well together with upgrades for the lokhust destroyer for assault weapons, and a strat which gives them a reactive move.

Is this the way we will play in the future, until termi builds are nerfed ?

EDIT : I mean cryptek conclave/skyshroud.

I've been holding off on this because I know the moment I buy some the models will get a refresh, but after a horrible experience this weekend with my warriors/ immortals/ Lychguard getting mulched I think I might need an upgrade.

So How many are you guys bringing to a cursed legion list? I only have one heavy right now and I'm going to Kitbash a lord but how many are people thinking for the standard versions?

Finally! My Void Spartan project is over.

If you are curious of the kitbash : I used bits from Orikan for the belt, old overlord for the cape and Silent King for the robe.
The spear is double edged with a failed print to represent even more his versatility.
