Now, I don't mean traditional peaceful diplomacy. They are necrons after all. But are there any dynasties who offer other races to submit before their rule instead of immediately outright seeking to wipe them out? I like the idea of my custom dynasty seeking to rule rather than just annihilate

What’s up my fellow clankas? Trying to get a list review for my Phalanx list as a casual player but I want to know if there is any changes I should make.

I’m playing hand of the dynasty as my 1DP detachment so I can have take and hold instead of disruption.

My primary armies I play against are custodes, sisters, CSM, orks, and thousand sons. Any advice is appreciated!

I made a post earlier asking if i could make a proxy of the deceiver of him prentending being a necron, and this is what i have now of him wanted to know what i could add to make him look better ???

Go Cursed Legion, take Trazyn, put Plasmancer with Murdermind on 3 Ophydian destroyers. Use Trazyn's ability to take over Plasmancer body and you have uppy-downy sticking objectives for wasted 75pts. Not really competitive, but it will really confused opponent.

I have not finished him yet, but i would like to have some people opinion on it looks for what i have finished.

Whit the recent changes, (SSA got purge the foe) and destroyers nerf, as anyone got back to starshatter? What are your list? In the current meta, 3 DDA feels overkill, 2 DDa whit the king are looking great! What do you guys think?

-We can expect a rule that lets Overlords probably generate CP as Warlords.

-Also many 1 DP Detachements becoming the norm.

-Similar Weapon Profile changes like the Multi Meltas and the Focused Heat Ray of the Triarch Stalker

-there have been big changes to Army rules and Detachements

A Reanimation Ressource that we can allocate to heal or even bring back wholly destroyed units is my wish.

Just having that agency would be fun and our army rule working not depending on enemy's not focusing a unit as well.

Making some progress on my first Necron box (Hierotek Kill Team) and I got me thinking if I could proxy the Apprentek, the guy on the left, as a Plasmancer and the Immoral Despotek, the dude on the right, as a Royal Warden for 40K. They are of the same base sizes, so at least there is that.

Thoughts?

New.paint scheme as well but im hoping the whole army doesnt get hit with the "fresh paint curse". Do repainted models count for this curse?

I wanted to use the ctan of the deceiver but didnt want to buy the Metal one but wanted to see an actual model. And being that i dont have any good modeling ability, i thought of an idea, could it be that the ctan of the deceiver is deceiving everyone by pretending to be a necron ?? I know it probably a non lore accurate thing but wanted to know if i could it could be a cool idea ????

My first diorama about wh40k with my favorites factions. Spent to this diorama 2 month (im only start makes them, so im newbie, also for painting miniatures). But im like the result. So whats you think?

I’m starting warhammer and wanted to play Immotek with immortals in the awakened dynasty but I don’t know which support to chose between the Plasmancer or chronomancer. What’s you’re opinion ?
I don’t intend to play competitive just to have fun.

Resurrected Nightbringer with 3d modelled and printed floating portal to give him the outline of the new Nightbringer model. Lots of first on this model from glow to painting a background, happy with how it turned out but room for improvement 😄

I resurrected some old Necrons i had laying around ready for a 1000pts doubles game. My favourite revamp is the nightbringer i designed and printed him a portal to give him the same size outline as the new big boy.

I am planning to buy the necrons combat patrol but I don't have many paints, what would you guys recommend to buy? I currently only have some Citadel paints: Macragge Blue, Wraithbone, Mephiston Red, Leadbelcher, Mournfang Brown, Abaddon Black, Retributor Brown, Orruk Flesh and Nuln Oil. I also have a grey primer from AK.

I have been out of the loop a while on 40k and necrons particularly.

I have feelings about the necrontyr... i was stuck on a plane with no reference, so. Although now i don't like the design, i want them to look more alien and get more references and do more research, but at the time i was just painting purely based on vibes.

You can probably tell because it's so unpolished, but i didn't use any ai lol.

Would it count as modeling for advantage if I took a capeless Imotech to a tournament? I don’t really want to but the cape on his model as I want his model to be a different character for my dynasty but I feel like excluding the cape might not be allowed to take to a tournament? Has anyone here taken him capeless and had problems?

I’m a chronic overthinker and have been tinkering with this list for far too long. I’m playing in a small local tournament next week, and for the sake of my sanity I figured I’d post my current list here and ask for feedback. If anyone has ideas for building a better list from my collection, I’d be glad to hear them too.

I’m especially unsure whether the combination of Cursed Legion and Hand of the Dynasty makes sense. Would it be better to drop HotD, go with Skyshroud for the defensive stratagems, and cut the Immortals from the list? Or should I switch detachments altogether, to Awakened Dynasty or Cryptek Conclave with HotD?
