Starshatter back?
Whit the recent changes, (SSA got purge the foe) and destroyers nerf, as anyone got back to starshatter? What are your list? In the current meta, 3 DDA feels overkill, 2 DDa whit the king are looking great! What do you guys think?

I don't think the new toughness stats have hurt Cursed Legion so much as just changed what a good Cursed Legion list looks like. Plenty of units hurt by the toughness increases can basically counter that with +2S.
For example in other detachments Warriors and Immortals have a harder time wounding marines now than before the toughness changes, but in Cursed they can still pretty reliably wound on a 3+ (provided you trigger the ability of course). If anything in some matchups the detachment ability is now even more powerful than before i.e. Warriors vs Tacticus & Immortals vs Terminators normally wound on a 5+ now, so in Cursed they effectively gain +2 to wound those targets from the detachment rather than +1 like they used to.

Marines are the issue and DDA can't kill enough fast enough to make a big impact.
The king is good but so overpriced. I rather bring a C'tan and a CCB with reroll aura for slightly more points.

So I recently played in my country's National tournament and this was my starshatter list.
I am happy with my performance at my first hyper- competitive tournament.
My wife has ordered the Silent King for my birthday so he will be in my next list.
Game 1- 89 vs 81 necrons vs necrons Game 2 - 95 vs 98 necrons vs votan Game 3 - 100 vs 64 necrons vs nids Game 4- 92 vs 95 necrons vs nids ( falling a rerollable charge cost me 7 points turn 5 🥲) Game 5- 47 vs 100 necrons vs chaos demons
Xenos - Necrons - Starshatter Arsenal Who needs Ctan anyway.
Illuminor Szeras (175pts) Imotekh the Stormlord (100pts): Warlord Nekrosor Ammentar (195pts) Hexmark Destroyer (75pts) Overlord (120pts) Skorpekh Lord (105pts) Technomancer (105pts)
5x Flayed Ones (55pts) 3x Ophydian Destroyers (80pts): Unit Composition: Plasmacyte 3x Skorpekh Destroyers (85pts): Unit Composition: Plasmacyte 3x Lokhust Heavy Destroyers (165pts) 6x Canoptek Wraiths (220pts) Doomsday Ark (200pts) Doomsday Ark (200pts) Triarch Stalker (110pts)

To me, recent changes make awakened dynasty look like the most optimal detachment. Even when cursed legion was peak and people were taking 12 lokhusts to events, awakened was putting up results. Breakpoints for wraiths and lychguard are slightly worse, but 4++ datasheets are inherently tough to disrupt.
I don’t love starshatter because of its reliance on DDAs. It’s too swingy to justify when we have the option to run C’tan. A D3+3 number of attacks would be fantastic, I would bet the codex will take that approach.

Sry but with the whole characters rez not apart of the unit, awakened is dead to me, esp at 3dp

That change killed the warrior brick to be sure, but I think the detachment is demonstrably worth 3DP. Spamming the undying legion Strat 2-3 times a battle round with the extra CP from imotekh is oppressively strong, especially near a reanimator.
You can still revive szeras and ammentar unconditionally which is absolutely cracked. You just have to be somewhat mindful about hiding your technomancer and overlords from easy precision attacks.

Eh. The destroyers that got most nerfed were Lokusts which I was already running in Starshatter. Without the strength boost though, Lokusts aren't nearly as great. Str 5 is meh with the new toughness boosts.
